What would be your Desert Island resources list?
If I were to be stranded on a desert island, I would want my Thompson Chain Reference Bibles (NASB, NIV, KJV, NKJV) and my Halley's Handbook. Then I would like to have my laptop with ALL of my Logos library. (Of course that laptop would have to have a self-renewing battery so that it would always be charged).
I like this question. If it's paper resources, I can think of a few right away:
I was trying to think which commentary I would want, never found one individual publication that could be used for all purposes. But then again I would be on a deserted island, so I could just make up my own interpretations, and no one would ever disagree with me. [;)]

Assuming 10 resources are limited to actual books, and not sets, and not (sniff! sniff! boo hoo!) any software applications (unlike Bill above, I would not have access to a perpetual battery):
Zia Hendrik-Jan,
Hogy van? Douglas vogyok. nem beszélek magyarul -- csak egy kicsit beszélek magyarul. Hogyan mondjam magyarul "an old friend of mine taught me a few phrases in hungarian...LOL"
Boldog karácsonyt!
Douglas

I guess I would be tagged a fundamentalist if I said the 10 Commandments. [:)]
I don't see a tag below your post, so your good . . .
I guess I would be tagged a fundamentalist if I said the 10 Commandments.
Most of them would be much easier to keep if we were alone on a desert island. Nobody to steal from or kill or commit adultery with (or against), nobody's stuff to covet, nobody to bear false witness against.

I'll bet those were some of Martin Luther's thoughts when he joined the monastery...

Ha!!!
guess you forgot to search via Logos Jesus' take on these...you think it you done did it.
Would they really? Is the wrong in doing or in the desire? Would being isolated preclude desire?

And he said, “What comes out of a person is what defiles him. For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, coveting, wickedness, deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within, and they defile a person.”
Mark 7:20–23
I doubt it but most of us just include them in our Bible so we get 9 more slots to fill. I don't think that's gluttony [H]
