If I were to be stranded on a desert island, I would want my Thompson Chain Reference Bibles (NASB, NIV, KJV, NKJV) and my Halley's Handbook. Then I would like to have my laptop with ALL of my Logos library. (Of course that laptop would have to have a self-renewing battery so that it would always be charged).

I like this question. If it's paper resources, I can think of a few right away:
- NIV Bible
- ESV Bible
- Zondervan Strongest concordance
- Bible dictionary (not sure which one yet)
- Morning and Evening
I was trying to think which commentary I would want, never found one individual publication that could be used for all purposes. But then again I would be on a deserted island, so I could just make up my own interpretations, and no one would ever disagree with me. [;)]

3) Biblia magyarázó jegyzetekkel (Hungarian translation of the Stuttgarter Erklärungsbibel)
and perhaps a book on building construction (as a dutchman I'd have to build two churches).

Most of them would be much easier to keep if we were alone on a desert island. Nobody to steal from or kill or commit adultery with (or against), nobody's stuff to covet, nobody to bear false witness against.

I doubt it but most of us just include them in our Bible so we get 9 more slots to fill. I don't think that's gluttony [H]
