Thanks for managing my resourcesBob
Bob, Logos, and company,
THANK YOU for taking over resource management. Over the past decade, i have grown weary of tracking down the "latest" version, synching FTP sites (which I never quite got to work). As my library grew, this task became less fun and a LOT more frustrating. I am thankful I no longer have to waste my life updating resources, and now I can spend my time actually using them.
Thanks you.

Hi,
Sorry, I am a bit slow here.
I understand the value of L4 not having to do our own updates from the few FTP sites, in L3.
I was trying to do a simple audit of my 3300++ Resources from over 150 products that I purchased from Logos over the years, now, I do not know which Resource comes from which of the 150 products. L3 "About This Resource" provides that information.
I remember having missing resources like Barclay Daily Bible Study Series for a long time without knowing, after fresh reinstallation from a disk crash situation from a newer Installation DVD. That was before Dave wrote the Libronix Backup/Restore Script.
Hmmm .... OK, what L4 will do for me is that this situation I had, will never occur again ... OK, I got it.[:)]
But, I would still like to know which Resource was purchased under which one of the 150 products [:(] from an accountability perspective.

This has been a problem for Logos for years. I hope the new system works and works well. We are still only in Beta, but I haven't really seen it working great yet. Much improved from 3.0, yes. Much improved from Beta 1, yes. But I also remember that when 3.0 was coming out that there were statements made about how Tools|Upgrade would keep all books up to date so we wouldn't have to do as much as before. While I certainly understand the need for the new way, I am concerned when I hear about so many problems some beta testers have had with making it work since there is now no other option.
