Bug: Adding Note in Resource with Headword Index

I am trying to add a note to a resource with headword indexing, the New Dictionary of Biblical Theology. The article is "Love." I put the cursor on the Headword, "Love" and right clicked. Whether I add the note to the selection "Love" or Headword, "Love" the note is "titled" "God."

I think it should be "Love."

I don't even see "God" as a headword, it is just the first word in the article and a linked word in the paragraph. Right clicking identifies 3 headwords: God, holiness and love -- Is this also a bug?

Chris ~ I'm not sure if these are bugs, but will report the two issues.  ~ Thanks, Melissa

Thanks, Melissa. I'll be interested to hear what they say.

This is fixed by design changes in note adding via the context menu of 4.0b. Choose the Headword and then choose "Add note to 'Note File."

The NDBT resource was rebuilt to fix headwords.

Wow, Melissa what persistence and follow through. I am impressed. I'd totally forgotten about this post and issue. Thanks for checking it out and getting back on it.

Now, let me tell you what happens. (in 4.0b build 7337):

I can attach the note to "Love" and it shows as love. But there is no indicator (and no visual filter options) in the NBD entry. If I hover over the heading word "Love" in the note, it pops up with a definition from Pocket Dictionary of Apologetics and Philosophy of Religion - my prioritized dictionary set - and that's where I go if I click on "love" in the note file. There is no indicator or visual filter options in the PDAPR either.

Shouldn't there be an indicator anywhere you can put a note?

Thanks, again. I'm still amazed that this was not "lost."

Since my MW Coll Dict was prioritized, that is the resource the note brought up, but when I prioritized the NDBT, it used that. If you add note to the Selection, it adds the note indicator and the note title is 'NDBT Love'.  I will have to look into why it's not adding the note indicator when added to the headword.

    Thanks, Melissa.

I suspected prioritization would affect the link, just didn't test it.

I tried a note on the headword as a selection and it does pop up the note I made and put a marker there and highlight it. - what I would have expected with adding a note to the headword as a headword.

    Thanks, again.
