Logos 4.2a Service Release 3 (v4.21.5.0932) is available for download.

If you have automatic updates turned on, SR-3 will be downloaded automatically the next time your system checks for updates. To install it right away, enter "update now" into the Command box.

This release includes a new command to "Remove Duplicate Notes" ("eliminar notas duplicadas" en español). See 4.2a SR-3 Release Notes: http://wiki.logos.com/Logos_4.2a_SR-3.

Melissa, I will recommend that y'all test the code before stating that it is fix. On the Wiki page, it states "Notes - Fixed bug that could cause multiple lines of preview text to be displayed in Compact view. (http://community.logos.com/forums/t/30672.aspx)." All of us who have reported this bug still has this bug. When Logos states that it fixes something and everyone who reported it says no, it looks very very bad on Logos. Will you please remove the bug fix on the wiki page. thanks.

In that thread, Francis posted "This has not solved the problem for my topical notes whose headings are text. However, the Bible notes whose headings are references look great. So, there is some progress but the problem is not completely solved yet."

So, the problem is fixed to some degree, but it is helpful to know that there are still some outstanding issues and these will be submitted to development.

Clearly, there must be bugs that are causing this problem, because one has been fixed, and one hasn't. Therefore, the wiki page that says "Fixed bug" (singular) is correct. [;)]

(I'll edit the wiki release notes to note that it has only been fixed in certain circumstances.)

Just to state what someone of us are thinking, and I know that some people will not like this. When it comes to quaility control, Logos is not a leader in this area, and L4 is a prime example. If Logos says something is fix, I take what they said with a couple tablespoons of salt.
