Now its really annyoying! Collections Multiplying Inexplicably
After downloading over 5 GB of resources and restarting Logos 4 I found that collections I created yesterday had been duplicated as many as 6 times. I deleted the extras and worked on forming other new collections. I came back after a break and the new collections had once again multiplied. I did not have Collections open during the time. Here's a screen shot:
Indexing is going on in the background, BTW.
I noticed a second strange behavior yesterday and today, before the download was completed and after it. When opening up the drop down menu in Collections sometimes the lists would 'vibrate' up and down making it hard to actually click on an entry. I could work around it by typing a letter in the find box, and the list would stop shaking. I've never seen this behavior before yesterday.
I have all the latest updates. I closed L4 and will wait for indexing to stop and then go back in and cull out the extra collections and hope it doesn't re-occur.
I've attached the current log files if they can be any help.

Sounds like a sync bug.

I've had this problem before. It happens when I delete the collection that is currently open.

Ah, another benefit of 'the cloud'. HMM. Be interested in knowing Logos' take on this.

I wasn't doing that. I was trying to open another collection after working on an open one.

OK. This is getting rediculous.
I now am up to copy 15 of a bunch of my collections. This has got to be sync based. Indexing is done. It isn't caused by that.
I close Collections, open them and the very copies I just deleted are back again.

I'll get our sync expert to look at your logs on Monday, but I think you're right that it has to do with sync. It may be best to set "Use Internet" to no until we can figure out what's causing this problem (to stop sync from creating duplicate collections).

Thanks Bradley. I've turned off the syncing and I'll see what happens.

This should be fixed in SR-3 (which we plan to release this afternoon).
