Logos Crashing When Double Clicking in Greek Words in NA27

I was trying to get to a word’s definition in BDAG by double clicking the word and having it open up BDAG. Well, every single time I have tried this (three different times) Logos completely crashes and I get a pop up window from Apple: “Logos Bible Software 4 quit unexpectedly.” I thought I’d try opening up BDAG and then double clicking on the word, but Logos keeps crashing (tried this 4 different times). PLEASE fix!

I forgot to mention that I have Logos 4.2a SR-5 (4.21.5.0959).

Wonder about restarting Mac ?
Odd observation: Indexer.log has 23 Apr entry "Indexer was requested to run for a user other than the last logged-in user; exiting now. " while Logos4.log shows program launch on 25 Apr so unable to tell if indexer has work to do. Typically, Logos 4 Mac launches indexer every time program starts so surprised to see couple days difference (especially with description about restarting Logos 4 Mac several times after crashing).

Restarted Mac. Same issue. I am going to try to reindex the whole thing.

I rebuilt the index and then tried to double click and see how it worked. BDAG opened, but then Logos 4 crashed. I then restarted the computer and tried again...it just crashed.

From Logos4.log, can see crash for rendering a glyph in BDAG. Noticed Bibles and BDAG have font scaling (TextSize=18.666666666666668 is 3 notches up from 100 % display). Apologies, unable to replicate crash using 2007 model iMac by opening NA27 (with font scaled up) to Hebrews 7:27, then right click on ἔχει then lemma, then clicking "A Greek-English lexicon of the New Testament and other early Christian literature (3rd ed.)" (BDAG also with font scaled up), which opens to ἔχω.
Wondering if Mac has multiple users ?
Have seen Indexer.log message "Indexer was requested to run for a user other than the last logged-in user; exiting now." when logging in as second user on Mac. Puzzled that Indexer.log is not being started with Logos 4 Mac launch; not know if related to crash (could be a file permissions issue).
Also wonder if changing font size up or down a notch makes any difference ?
Likewise wonder about program scaling setting ? Wiki Mac Troubleshooting page has Program Scaling section has steps to set and check display factor.

I have had the font there before, and it never made any difference. The double clicking works just fine with HALOT and BHS, but not NA27 and BDAG. And I do have two users on my mac. Originally the mac was my dads and he just made an account for me and made me primary user, since he never used this computer anymore. I have never used any other account for Logos, so that "Indexer was requested to run for a user other than the last logged-in user" makes no sense. Indexer shows that it starts up after Mac launches and even seemed to start up when Logos 4 started up, so there is a bigger issue. I was afraid of that. So, I just deleted everything and re-installed Logos 4. It is downloading stuff now. Hopefully that clears things up. I need Logos for my last major paper.

Wiki Mac Troubleshooting page has Uninstalling and Reinstalling in Logos 4 Mac section with all files to delete for complete uninstall.
If crash repeats after reinstall, let's check user home directory permissions.

Logos finished indexing sometime in the night/morning. So, just now, I decided to close everything and restart my computer. Then I opened up Logos and went to NA27, went to the passage that it had been in (Hebrews 7:27), double clicked on a word and Logos 4 crashed again! This is getting really frustrating! I created a zip of my logs again.

So, it turns out that anytime I double click on ἔχει in Hebrews 7:27, Logos 4 crashes. Even if I right click on it and tell it to open it up in BDAG. However, when I double clicked on ἀνάγκην in the exact same sentence, Logos 4 has NOT crashed. This is a VERY odd bug. Any thoughts?

Then I tried to go to the lemme ἔχω manually in BDAG, and the moment I clicked on it, Logos 4 crashed. Isn't that funky?

Indexer.log file looks good (nothing needs indexing). Carefully comparing your Logos4.log file with mine shows why my Indexer launches every time (download "hangover") so one puzzle resolved; my apologies [:$]
Logos4.log file has a message: "Navigating to Content Entry:[ἔχω]" that should be followed by 4 lines. First line for Local History of ἀνάγκη in BDAG appears. Second line for Local History of ἔχω in BDAG is missing; instead crash information appears; not know if updating History or BDAG resource display is crashing.
Wonder about launching Logos 4 Mac, open History (Tools => History), Clear History, then open BDAG, click ἔχω in BDAG table of contents.
If crash repeats, suggest contacting Logos technical support http://www.logos.com/about/contact and reference this forum thread. Logos Technical Support has access to internal information about crashes along with ability to connect remotely to your Mac with your permission.
Apologies: screen shot shows clicking ἀνάγκη in BDAG followed by clicking ἔχω in BDAG not crash on my iMac:
From forum discussion Finally found the Cause for Slow Logos4 Mac know Logos 4.3 Beta development has a fix planned for History (looking forward to Logos 4.3 Beta 3 release; hopefully soon).

So, this is odd: I did what you suggested and cleared my history....all of it. Then I opened up NA27 and double clicked that same word that was causing Logos to crash....well, it crashed. I restarted Logos 4 and tried again. THIS time it did not crash. That was a few hours ago. I tried again just now....no crash. That was a REALLY funky bug. Thanks for that suggestion. It actually did help.

Glad to hear Logos is usable for your paper since crashes disappeared.
