Notes - Annoying!!!

This thread seem to indicate that not much will be done until the PBB is finished (and it's not even in beta yet). Bob P seems to believe that when that's released we'll all happily find that it fills all our needs, and we don't need Notes any more.

If there is anything that will drive me away from Logos it is the horrible condition of the notes. I have been waiting a very long time for one of two things; 1. Some kind of improvement on the note feature but nothing has happened for a very long time, 2. Any information regarding the direction the note feature is taking. Silence regarding the notes has been extremely frustrating to me to the point that I have decided to NOT spend any more of my hard earned money on Logos. I'm not sure when exactly the Mac project began but I have been here throughout and after all this time we have progressed little in the area of notes. I will grant that progress has been made in other areas but every time I fire up Logos for Mac I get double notes (this does not happen in Windows) and frankly I paid for a Mac product but find that to make notes and use them reliably I must use the Win version. All I can say is that I am incredibly disappointed.

This is not a rant, simply a statement of truth from a former dedicated user of Logos. Sorry if it offends anyone. That is not my intent.

According to Bradley's post, they are working on notes.

What is "a new notes format" is anyone's guess.  Bradley's post is leaning towards syncing, but I am hoping that it is a lot more than just syncing. 

Jack, thanks for the reply but to answer your question the answer is no. I did find however the same problem in the Win version. After I posted I fired up the Win version and found duplicates there as well. I actually use the note feature extensively and so that is why I find this whole process so frustrating. There are many things to like about Logos to like and having used it for quite a few years it amazes me that this process is taking an incredibly long time. In the meantime (and perhaps from here on out) I am using another product.
