Cannot connect to internet to synchronize licenses

I have Logos version 3.0g and I am unable to connect to synchronize my licenses. I can connect to the internet, but when I press next a box pops up saying "You must be connected to the internet for this action to succeed. Check your internet connection and try again". I am running Windows 7 Home premium 64-bit on a DSL connection with both Internet Explorer 9 and Firefox 4 installed. Thank You.

David,
Based on your experience, I thought I would see if my Logos 3.0g could sync licenses. I get the same error you do and this is the first time I have gotten this kind of error. You're not alone. I am running XPsp3 with a working dsl connection and IE 8.

Could be a server side problem with Logos. If so, they may know of it and it might get cleared up. If that doesn't happen in a few hours, contact tech@logos.com

David I have the same set up as Joan. [:|]
Just ran it with no problem. [:$]
Try it again, I think it was a temp problem as Mark Smith has suggested. [:)]

I just tried it again and still no joy in Mudville. [:D]
EDIT: I was able to update my resources in Libronix so the updater works.

I just fired up my Libronix laptop and was able to sync just fine, so it isn't a server problem. Could you be having firewall issues? Maybe a new update to your anti-virus software recently created an issue. Have you tried rebooting?

I sync'd on Libronix yesterday, so the problem must have started last night.

Still no sync. I'm running McAfee Security suite and I just disabled the firewall to see if that would help. It didn't.

It's working fine now.

It sounds like a call to support might save time and help unravel the problem since not all of us are having it and it isn't confined to a particular operating system or antivirus program.

Yes, Mark, thanks for your help.
David, is it working for you?

I tried Disabling Zone Alarm, Avast and the Windows 7 built in Firewall, but still was unable to connect.
