Great its over the line, dancing here. Any more takers to get it down further?
On another note, Rosie what software do you use for your screen shot?

Thanks. I have to look into procuring one. Your Screen shots allows you just to take the section you want with highlighting and it looks professionally done.

Ted,
if you look into http://wiki.logos.com/Screenshot you will find a number of these tools described. As you wrote about "procuring": The functionality to take just a section of the screen and add highlighting to it is also available for free in the Windows Snipping Tool. You may look at screenshots I have inserted (the professional look surely goes with the user as well as with the tool). The wiki says:
[quote]Snipping Tool
Windows 7, Vista, and Experience Pack for Windows XP Tablet include a program called Snipping tool. Loading it automatically gives you a “cross hairs” so you can select the area of your screen to grab along with basic editing ability.

Thanks for the info. I need to spend some time familiarising myself
with Wiki [:$]. I will also give your suggestion a try. Blessings.Ted

I'm extremely surprised Cranmer hasn't really moved at all since it passed the line. I would have thought that most of the people at $20 would have raised to $30, and that many new buyers would have jumped in as well. Cranmer is a pretty well-known guy, after all.
You still have 4 days, folks. Don't miss out.

I think that it soaked up most of its interest just getting to 100%, if you rememebr Barnes took an age to creep the final 10% but when it hit 100% the price did not drop at all as not many new folk jumped on the price.
I would like to be proved wrong but this one may stick at $30, which after all is a bargain as these books look incredibly valuable.

[Y] Sure would be nice if the price could drop, but I'd be happy to get this at the current price.

Ok folks, here we go. Last chance to get Thomas Cranmer on Community Pricing, as bidding ends Friday noon. Get your bids in now to avoid disappointment (and hopefully lower the price!) [;)]

Now selling for $139.95. I'll say that was a nice CP price! Thanks for pushing this, Richard.
BTW, your mission isn't entirely accomplished until we see "Ships <today>" sometime in the future, and then finally receive that comforting email saying it's ready to download. That could still be a few months or a year or more away, as they've still got to actually produce this 10 volume collection now that it's fully funded. I hope for your sake and the sake of your dissertation that it's not too long.

So we got it at $30 but when do we get it?
Ay, there's the rub!
As Rosie mentioned above, it could be months, possibly up to a year. Production will now begin at Logos and it could take quite a while for them to go through 10 vols., along with all the other CP and Pre-Pub works that they're processing.
Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later, as I'm hoping to make use of this collection for a dissertation on Cranmer.

Do we get to read your dissertation when it's done?

In PBB format!?

If PBB winds up being free (and no publishers are interested!) then yeah! [:P]

Or, perhaps they've already begun production knowing that it would be fully subscribed. It shouldn't take too long for the production phase since it's either in English or Latin (same alphabet).

I like this. Positive thinking. Thanks. [:D]
Let's hope you're right and that Cranmer will soon be occupying our Libraries.

THANK YOU LOGOS! And thank you to everyone who bid for the Cranmer Collection - it will be very helpful for my dissertation, and I hope you find it useful as well. Just have to get on and write it now!

You're welcome. Of course, my being an Episcopalian had absolutely, positively, categorically nothing to do with it. [:D]

Richard,
It was an honor to participate in the process with you. I hope you'll be able to make your dissertation accessible at some time in the future if that is agreeable. I'm insterested in what insights you find. Along with the Cranmer Collection I also purchased Erasmus' Collection. If I can scrabble together the money for the Luther's Works Collection and some of Calvin's works and the James Isaac Good Collection on CP I'll be able to do deeper research on at least some of the thinkers during the beginnings of the Protestant Reformation. May God bless you in your endeavour and best of luck!
