L3 resources are missing in L4
Dear Logos,
I thought i would report this in the forums, in case someone else is also missing some; but, i am missing some of my L3 resources.
Missing:
Bill Bright Collection
Baker Digital Ref. Library Level 3
Many Thomas Nelson titles, like MacArthur's "Strength for Today". Not sure what collection this came with, the about resouce list it as blank.
Thanks! -Joe

Joe,
Good to hear from you. Hope all is well.
The goal is in the very near future that Logos 4 will automatically download any and every resource you own, as of yet these are not all in the distribution channel. That means that you have two options.
1. Find the disk, put it in and type scan d:/path/to/files in the command bar, that should locate them and copy them over.
2. you can wait for the automatic download. The downside here is that I don't know when that will be.
Now, if you already had these in your L3 path and they are not available in L4 now, that's another issue. So clarify that here and someone from Logos should respond to it.

Hello Pastor Thomas!
These missing resources are already in my L3 system. Maybe the Nelson books have not all been converted yet?
Did your Baker Level 3 resources transfer? Any one else have Bill Bright collection? Can you see them in L4?
I am doing fine Thomas, and it is good to hear from you also.
God bless! -Joe

My Baker Level 3 resources are there, but then again I got them again in Library Builder a few years ago.
Many Nelson titles are there. I have so many of them, I am not sure if I have them all, but I haven't noticed anything missing - and this includes LLS unlocks (of LBXLLS files) as well.

Hmm, the only baker library source I don't have is Baker Sermon Illustration Library Volume 1
I didn't have the bright collection so I can't answer that one.

Wait, stop looking Logos. There may be an issue with how i am determining missing resources. I was comparing the actual filenames (minus the suffix, and ingoring case) and came up with this list. However, i just typed in "Bright" into my library filter and i see many. So, maybe filenames have been changed? I need to research a bit further. Sorry! -Joe

Joe, it's quite possible that the file names have changed to some new scheme. So that's good news!

Yes, i am still missing some of the Bill Bright resources. It looks like most, if not all, are Audio Transcript books. The filenames start with "AT". L3 says i have 128 Bill Bright resources, while L4 says only 76.
Now, i will look closer at the Baker resources.

Baker resources must have had filename changes, because i am finding them in L4 in the library.
So, still missing some of Bill Bright books, and will now look more into the Thomas Nelson.

The Thomas Nelson may be from an old collection that i use to have. So, it is probably just Bill Bright collection that have missing resources. Logos, can you look at this? Let me know if i can provide any more information.
Thanks! -Joe

I can't be certain Joe, but I fear they may need a book by book list of what's missing. That's a pain.

Joe, the audio files will still run in L3 but L4 does not have this ability.
If I have "mis-spoke"somome will correct me.
This appears to be the case with my "Nelson" Lucado audio resources.

This is correct: Logos 4 is not (yet) compatible with many of the video & audio resources from LDLS3 (including the Bill Bright series). Although http://www.logos.com/4/missingfeatures only says "Video resources", it actually should include audio resources too (and they will be fixed at the same time).
