Vyrso Crashed on Barth
Just downloaded Verso and tried Barth Dogmatics vol 3. (iphone 3G) It crashed. Most Barth volumes do the same on the Logos main application. I guess Barth has caused many a brain crash in humans, but it would be nice if these apps couldhandle the Logos Barth volumes

On a lighter note, one of my theology professorss said he read all Barth's Dogmatics while in his PhD. None of us believed him... [:P]

Maybe this would be a good time to encourage Logos to convert their 14 volumes of the CD to the recently released 31-volume set. [:D]

Yes the text was downloaded - not using wifi or 3G. Other Barth vols do the same!

Hi Greg. As best as I understand the Logos version IS the new version of Barth, in that the Latin and Gk are translated into English to make them more accessible. However they retain the volume numbers of the original sets, which makes sense for referencing purposes.

Yeah, I know. I'm thinking the new, updated CD should correspond to the new, updated 31-volume set. Because there is no new, updated 14-volume set of CD. This would especially be important if the 31-volume set becomes the standard.

I'm having the same problem. Vol I.2 crashes Vyrso within 2-3 minutes when trying to read on my ipod Touch.

I owe the 14 volume edition of Barth in Logos. I have only used it on my Acer netbook. It does not crash it, but trying to use the power look up for all the footnotes, slows it way down. That may be part of the problem on mobile devices is all the footnotes and scripture references, that are causing the problem.
