Logos 4 crashes when signing in
This is a sequence of steps I've been trying to do to fix this problem:
1. I erased all Logos 4 files from my macbook.
2. Installed Logos 4 again by downloading the installer from the link you guys sent.
3. I opened Logos 4. Pressed Command and start with a blank layout.
4. Logos 4 starts but when I press the home button, Logos 4 crashes.
Attached you will find the log error file. Please advice.

Attached zip file has an Indexer crash from April 18 (not helpful to diagnose current issue with home page). Wonder about enabling logging, repeating steps, and replying to this thread (attaching a newer zip file).
Note: Step 3 should have created Logos4.log file. If Logos 4 Mac opened after step 4 without command key, then Logos4.log file would be deleted.
Wiki Mac Troubleshooting => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac includes link to Logos Log Scribe for creating zip file. Also includes link to Mac Diagnostic Logging could enable for now using AppleScript application => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/34277/272324.aspx#272324 (easy to toggle logging setting).

here is the new log file Logos created.
I open Logos with a blank layout logging and then logos crashes. Please solve this asap, i been having problems since I upgraded to Lion and this is really annoying after paying a lot of money for this software.

Apologies: as a Logos user with Many Volunteer Posts (MVP), not able to solve this issue, can offer several options and some observations.
Noticed Logos4.log file has a crash while preparing XML for Home Page display, whose content changes daily. One option is simulating F5 key press externally by deleting folder(s) within your ~/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/vrtr7e3y.0c6/HomePage folder; next time Logos 4.3 launches, folder should be created with new content. Another option is opening Logos 4.3 on Mac with a blank layout and not use Home Page (reminds me of some Logos 4 Mac alpha pre-releases that had Home Page display crashes)
Third option is email to Logos Mac Support and reference this forum thread => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
Since using current stable Logos 4 Mac version, fourth option is calling Logos Support during business week => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
Personally anticipating Logos 4.3 SR-1 release later this month; perhaps later this week, but not know if fix planned for Home Page generation on OS X Lion in Logos 4.3 SR-1.
Observation: Logos Bible software is Free, money paid for resource licenses in your Logos library. Thankful Logos licensing allows resources to be used on a variety of electronic devices.

Wonder if signing in issue repeats with Logos 4.3 SR-1 (released 3 days ago).
Option: use wiki Mac Troubleshooting => Update Error steps (choosing stable download) for Logos 4.3 SR-1 upgrade.
Release notes for Logos 4.3 SR-1 include Mac Home Page bug fix.

I downloaded Logos 4.3 SR-1 yesterday. Erased the previous version (which was having issues) and installed a fresh copy of Logos 4. I still have the same problem. Logos 4 keeps on shutting down. Then I started a blank layout, Logos 4 started and then pressed the home button and logos 4 crashes again.
Im attaching a notification window that shows (Mac displays it) with an error report. Please advice.7416.mac notification.rtf.zip

Observation: posted file has one line, which includes "Logos 4 Logging is not enabled."
When diagnostic logging is always enabled => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Enable_Mac_logging_always
, starting Logos 4 Mac typically creates two files: Logos4.log and Indexer.log

It looks like the initial issue may have been caused by some corrupt data in one of your databases. If you would be willing/able, the developers have asked for you to send/post a copy of that database for investigation. You can find it here:
/Users/johne1977/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Documents/vrtr7e3y.0c6/UserPreferences/PreferencesManager.db
If you are willing to send us a copy, do that first and then deleting the database should get the program running for you again.

Observation: OS X Lion update not installed (released 16 Aug) => http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1437
Noticed XML crash while processing Home Page preferences.
Since have posted PreferencesManager.db file, wonder if deleting PreferencesManager.db, then starting Logos 4 Mac works ? If crash again, could wait for Logos 4.3 SR-2 release (should be available within 24 hours, perhaps sooner).

As I mentioned previously (and KS4J mentions it above) you need to delete the PreferencesManager.db file that you posted for us from your system files. (Thank you for posting it, by the way! [:)])
That should get the program working again for you. I asked that you post the file before you deleted it because the developers wanted to take a look at it to make sure there weren't any additional actions necessary.
