Hi, That is news to me.

Do you still have the resource file for the Version 3 public domain Chinese Bible? I do not know if it works trying this with C/J/K versions running under Version 4 but many Version 3 files can be run by Version 4 if you tell Version 4 where to discover the resource. (Search the forums for "discover resources" to see how.)

Does anybody running Korean or Chinese Bibles in Version 4 know if the Version 3 Asian language Bibles will run without updating the format?? Anybody?

I have not added the Libronix based Japanese Bible to Version 4 yet so I don't know.

The one you are referring to is a pbb file and Logos 4 does not yet have the capability to read pbb files. It should be available for the second quarter of the year. In the meantime you will have to use L3 or buy Logos' version which is copyrighted by UBS (perhaps for the punctuation because the text itself is public domain).

Matthew, I looked at my L4 resources folder, and the Chinese bible there is "ZH-CUNPTRD.lbxlls" so should be the old L3 format.

These are the same copy in lbxlls format in both L3 and L4, produced by Logos, Copyright belongs to UBS (not Public Domain),

    • ZH-CUNPSMP.lbxlls (This is CUV Simplified)
    • ZH-CUNPTRD.lbxlls (This is CUV Traditional)

If you can see it in Logos4 Resource folder, sounds like you have a license for it.  Enter Abbreviation CUV in My Library and you should get your the CUV Bible.

The PBB copies were produced by Joe and myself long time ago, not sure if it is still hosted on Pastor Thomas' website where the rest of the PBB was hosted.  I do not use them anymore.

Your pbb version seems to have the same problem at Isaiah 6:13 as Logos' IBS versions. The font for the character for "tree stump" is not working. I submitted a typo report a few weeks ago but no update yet. This is the character which should be showing up: 𣎴. It looks like bu "not" but has no gap. Here is a link if it doesn't come through correctly on your browser: http://www.zdic.net/zd/zi3/ZdicF0ZdicA3Zdic8EZdicB4.htm.

Any chance you could fix the pbb version?

    Thanks~!

I think the problem lies in the word "image" (stump), which is a rare word and not a part of the words in the standard font library (字庫). I wonder if anyone has seen the word displayed in its original and correct form in electronic format?  The word becomes "丕" (large) in my Logos 3 CUV  [:(], and "橔" (cover of coffin/ wither) in the online CUV of various websites.
