Awesome Idea! In word, what happens if you do a replace (CTRL+H), select more options, use wildcards, and the in the find put \[\[*\]\], leaving the Replace column Blank? If you did this right before you print it, then after you printed it hit Undo (CTRL+Z) You might gget pretty close to something printable. I"m suggesting this without having time to test it at all, though! you could always create the Logos file, Save it, then save it again with (Word Version) at the end of the name, and try the above as well. I might be forgetting something that would need to be removed, though, that doesn't fit within a double bracket.

You could also format all the tagging as Hidden text (one of the options in the Font dialog). Then it won't show up when you print it, but it will still be visible on screen as long as you turn on visibility of Hidden Text (in Word Options under Display). I'm assuming Logos would still pick it up and parse it for milestones and such, though that would require an experiment to figure out, which I don't have time for right now.

Actually i am pleased with the printout from L4. i would rather not disturb my Word docx as i might want to add other info/notes to it latter.

L4 does a nice job of changing the printout even beyond my original layout

The point of doing it as Hidden text is that you don't need to replace it all ever. Just leave it that way, as long as Logos treats it the same as if it weren't hidden. I used to use hidden text in Word for all kinds of tricks. You can even hide a paragraph mark to make two paragraphs appear to run together even if they have different formatting. It's pretty cool.

Another great feature of tagging my material is that i can show others various translations for these verses in Text Comparison tool by linking them together.

As i scroll in my PB then L4 changes the TC to reflect the verses that i have tagged in the PB. And the TC follows along as i progress through my explanations in my PB.

i use the Table of Contents to advance through my presentation. This is similar to sequencing through a PowerPoint slide. And i can quickly jump back to an area when someone has questions.

I think Logos could have some built-in editor for PBB editing.  Then we would not need Word and DOCX as an intermediate format at all.

i have also discovered that i can add footnotes which have multiple verses in them. And show them in the projection by clicking on the footnote and then hovering over the individual scripture verses. i think this will be handy so i don't clutter the original material.

I understand. But if you have already created a document with tons of tags this is a way of marking them as hidden all at once rather then having to format them one by one. It also saves you from having to tag everything as you enter it. you can put in all the Logos items and then hide them all at once.

i am not sure that using hiding text would work around linking a word to a book. If we hid the link then the word would not show up in our Word printout.

e.g.  [[Praise >> logosres:somebook]]

if we tried to hide part of this then the way the PB compiler parses would probably be broken and the whole tag would appear in our PB without it being converted to a link.
