Vyrso and Logos apps - dont share same downloads

I was surprised to find that if I download a book in Vyrso, and then open my Logos app, it doesn't read that download.  I have to actually download it again, storing two copies of the same book on my device.

    That's how all apps work on iOS devices. Question though... Why would you download it to both apps?

    A look at the Resource folders for the ESV Bible shows them to be almost the same; the Logos app has a cover.jpg file not in Vyrso. However, it is a question of one app knowing a resource has been downloaded or removed and the other needing to know e.g. scanning the shared Resource folder at startup. I doubt this was envisaged during design e.g. why have both apps on the one device?

    I don't think this is possible on iOS.

    I don't think Logos necessarily intended for users to have both apps, but rather to create a less intimidating app for new Vyrso readers. Personally, I like having both.

    I don't think this is possible on iOS.

    I believe this last point is correct. For security purposes  iOS doesn't allow one app to read another apps directories....it would be a huge security hole for hackers to exploit if this restriction was not in place....
