What good is the Vyrso app if you have Logos?
I really can't figure out any reason at all to use the Vryso app if a person has the Logos app. It seems like Logos does everything that the Vyrso app does, plus a whole lot more. The reading interface is just the same (only less options with Vyrso). I haven't noticed any difference in speed, of course I always download any resource I am reading. So at this point, I am thinking I should just delete the Vyrso app and only use the Logos app. No point in having them both. And since one doesn't read the downloads from the other, I would always have to remember which app downloaded which resource to my device. Better just to use Logos and delete Vyrso. Am I missing something here?

I don't think so. I have Logos on my Android and my wife has Vyrso, mainly for bible reading.

True, the Logos app does everything. The Vyrso app is for people who want a more streamlined UI for reading trade books, and don't need the extra Bible study features.
I find it nice, though, to use both, and keep a trade book I'm reading through open in Vyrso, and my Bible open in Logos.

my Bible open in Logos.
As the Pastor approaches the pulpit and glances down at Bob's iPad, knowing there are thousands and thousands of reference books at his disposal, and feeling rather intimidated, reminds himself to choose his words carefully.......

That's what I found very convinient to do. I have my Logos ready with the Bible and commentary and can use Vyrso for opening of any book for just plain reading.Bohuslav

I agree with you Wyn. I have deleted Vryso from my iPad. Kindle allows me to highlight, to make notes, and it files those notes on it's web server so I can easily access quotes for illustrations. Neither Logos nor Vryso do any of those things. Consequently, they are not helpful on my iPad..

he good news is that Highlighting is coming to Logos on the ipad/android. Mums the word on the date though.
Step ahead of you brother. I already use a highlighter with my iPod Logos App. I must admit, its getting really hard to see through the screen, Especially since I accidentally used a sharpie once.

I'm glad for your sake they're not syncing that yet. Try a magic eraser. My wife loves them.

True enough. With sinks come water damage and that would void the warranty.

As does mine :-)
