i'm new here and very confused, so bear with me.

i got libronix e-bible via a nelson ministry cd. thereafter also registered with libronix etc.

there were a couple of resources on the cd but i downloaded a lot of other free stuff from the logos/libronix site.

then my pc had a problem, was repaired and voila, libronix is broken!

so i downloaded the 3g version and got it working with my 'confirmation code'. now there are about 5 'locked' documents in which i am not interested and my 'library' is empty.

where can i go to find the bibles, commentaries and other diverse writings etc i had before and which were for free - about as free as mercy? i am disappointed to note that i even have to pay for the kjv as things stand now!

I'm not sure how your second post relates to where you are in the process. Are you still stuck, or were you able to figure it out and are now helping others who might have the same problem?

If you were able to download all the resources but they are still showing up as locked, then you'll need to call Logos Tech Support to have them unlock them for you. Explain the situation and be prepared to read them the license code from the CD package over the phone.

If you're looking for other free resources that you'd downloaded from Logos before, I can't guarantee you that the same things are free that were free before, but there are a bunch of free resources which you can find here. I'm not sure all of them will work in Logos 3 (Libronix). You might need to upgrade to Logos 4 for some of them, but it's worth a try:

Gabriel, you need to have the software send you your lisence via email if you have not already done so. The licence will tell the software which books you are licenced to have and they will be unlocked.

Your customer id is the email address that you used to register the software. Go to "help", then "about" and see if your email address is there. It must be the same one that was used when you first installed the software. If not go to "tools" then "Account Management" and complete the process which tells the software to send the licence via email. Remember to use the email address which you initially used when installing the software before the crash.

If not call Logos with your email address and have them send the licence to you.

i found some lds3 files on an old hd and just copied them into the main libronix folder in the program files folder of my pc, where i have also dled some resources from http://www.nelsonministryservices.com/nms/dept.asp?dept%5Fid=741

pressed the ldls.exe button - waited and lo and behold, ALL was back plus an unlocked new kjv study bible.

thank all of you for racking your brains on this one!
