I started using the beta today, .28.42. Downloading .43 now.
Overall, it's working pretty well, except for the occasional crash. However, when editing a song, I cannot resize the font size for the lyrics.
Is this a known bug?
No I don't think it's a bug...I had the same problem. It's not a font size issue, it's a amount-of-text-on-the-slide issue. Try spacing through the verses and choruses to separate natural chunks of the lyrics. It will automatically space them into new slides, and you should be able to increase font size. The reason its not increasing is because one of the slides is filled out, even though the one you're trying to edit probably isn't.
Cheers.
Thanks, Chad. I'll check it out!
I think it is a bug. I'm having the same issue. I followed your advice and space the songs out two lines per slide, and I still can't enlarge the font enough to be seen on our screen. In PowerPoint I usually use an 80pt font, but Proclaim seems to stop enlarging about 40, or 45pt.

To get a feel for the behavior try customizing a song service item with a single short line.
Here we make the rendered text larger by increasing the font size to 130
Here we increase the font size to 300 but there is no change in the rendered text as this would cause the line to wrap or overflow which is not allowed
Finally a demonstration that with a shorter line the rendered text will indeed grow to 300
Hope that helps clear things up.
I tried your steps, however my font didn't change, and it still hasn't overflowed. Here the screenshots of different font sizes that all looked the same.
As you can see they all look the same, yet the font numbers differ

You lyrics must contain a long line (I can't see all the lyrics in the screen shots but there is a vertical scroll bar indicating there are more). One detail I didn't mention is the font size for the entire service item will be the same. If one of your verses contains a long line requiring the font size to shrink then all the slides will use that smaller font size. Try deleting all the lyrics except for 'Y por siempre dire' and the rendered text should increase in size.
Is there more than one slide on that song?
Not an expert here but in my limited experience with proclaim, it limits the size of all the text based on the longest line in the song.
Example: you have a song 3 slides long. The middle slide is blank, the first slide is a short line and the last slide is a really long line. The text of the lyrics on ALL the slides will always be the same size. So if you increase the size so high that the long line on the last slide tries (and fails) to go outside the bounds of the text box, then ALL the lyric text on EVERY slide in that song can only be as big as the text on the last slide
I'm not sure if that made it more confusing on clearer
After I adjusted the various lines of verse, etc, my font size automatically adjusted and was larger.
