Josh. Where is your little blue Logos logo?
[I]
that is so funny to me...".Logos logos"
I know it is not a "large ticket item," but since I already own it, I have been reluctant to buy "Seven Practices of Effective Ministry" in Logos format. [As an aside, I am hoping for more Multnomah books in Logos/Vyrso]
Sorry, no discounts on Anchor Yale or NICOT.
How about NICNT? [:D]
Any ideas you'd like us to consider?
There is a recent thread where some expressed that it would be nice for new users to be able to buy old community pricing resources for the origioanal community pricing price instead of its now full price. This would be a good chance for them to do so. I know I cancelled Barne's at the last moment because I have it in another program and would like a second chance to have it at the original price in CP.
Just a thought.
We're putting together this year's Christmas promotions
Ahhh - when I look at your profile page, I begin to understand the title of this thread "Christmas 2012 Promotion" and your posting text "this year" :
[:)]
I would like to see a combination of 3 bundles...Hebrew Bible Bundle, Early Judaism Bundle and Ancient Near East Bundle...all combined into one offering and further reduced...say $1800 for the lot!!!
NIDOTTE. Or individual Hermeneia volumes, like Jeremiah. Revised Joüon and T. Muraoka Hebrew Grammar.

Christmas 2012 is so far away... when will the Christmas 2011 sale be announced? [:P]
Know of one Logos 4 user that is hoping for sale of NIV Application Commentary: New Testament (NIVAC) (20 vols.) and NIV Application Commentary: Old Testament Prophets (NIVAC) (8 vols.)
Keep Smiling [:)]
I got a head of myself there, we are talking 2011!
How about NICNT?
The Bible Speaks Today
HALOT
Liddell & Scott Lexicon
Tyndale Commentaries
Tom Wirght's "For Everyone" series (on its own, I've got nearly all of the rest of the collection already).
Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentaries
IVP Biblical Theology Collection
Zondervan Hermeneutics Collection
Goldingay's 3-volume Old Testament Theology (available as individual volumes, but would be good to have as a collection on sale)
These are the resources I would buy if I could afford them, and if they were cheap enough!
Another Master Collection for 2011 [:D] I would REALLY like to see this again (with different resources -- maybe include the missing volumes from sets that were included last year)
Barth's Church Dogmatics for the prepub price of $300.[:D][:D][G]
Bavinck Reformed Dogmatics (4 vols.) for $109.95 or less
Exposition of Ephesians (8 vols.) by Martin Lloyd-Jones for $109.95 or less
IVP Biblical Theology Collection (4 vols.)
WallBuilders American Foundations Digital Library
Hermeneia and Continental Commentaries (63 vols.) at that great price you did before!
I'd like:
Hermeneia, please!
The Bible Speaks Today HALOT Liddell & Scott Lexicon
(An excellent list!) I noticed my Black Friday payment plan from last year is now paid off ;-) It seems I remember The Bible Speaks Today being offered at $60 sometime in the last 12 months, that would be an excellent price. Halot and Liddell & Scott are only part of the Portfolio package and are an excellent upgrade to lower packages. Liddell & Scott would be timely now that we have Perseus.
(edit: does anyone remember in recent history a discount being offered on Halot or Liddell & Scott? Not counting a BDAG & HALOT bundled sale. It has been mentioned that the publisher restricts sale prices on HALOT.)

Not remember a HALOT sale, but do remember a one day special last month => Logos on Twitter
$ 974.95 => Hebrew Bible Bundle (54 vols.) (not a download, so add some shipping for CD's)
- - - - - - - Twitter sale was 50 % off $ 974.95 (bit less than buying HALOT and JPS Tanakh individually)
$ 769.95 => International Critical Commentaries: Old Testament (23 vols.)
$ 379.95 => JPS Tanakh Commentary Collection (JPSTC) (9 vols.)
$ 229.99 => Forms of the Old Testament Literature Series (FOTL) (17 vols.)
$ 159.95 => Hebrew and Aramaic Lexicon of the Old Testament (HALOT) (5 vols.)
Hebrew Bible Bundle nominally has 37 % discount compared to individual purchase; Twitter special offered 68 % discount.
Also noticed $ 259.95 Advanced Hebrew Supplement (11 vols.) includes HALOT
Wonder about a special Greek and Hebrew bundle that combine Advanced Hebrew Supplement (11 vols.) and Advanced Greek Supplement (6 vols.) resources with LSJ while removing BDAG and HALOT.
Likewise wonder about a Perseus Supplemental collection with Grammars and Lexicons (e.g. LSJ) for Greek and Latin ?
Norman Geisler Collection
Christian History & Biography Magazine
NIV Application Commentary
Expositions of Holy Scripture (MscLaren)
Zondervan World Religions & Cults
Bible Speaks Today
Systematic Theology - Norman Geisler

Absolutely!! [Y][Y][Y]
There is a list started in the Logos Christmas thread. In case they do not see this ....[:D]
I personally would like to see some of the above ideas -such as the community pricing, etc. on some Reformed, apologetics, and counseling resources. I have a friend that has expressed interest in one of the base packages if there is a special there ....
Speaking of base packages it would be nice to have a Reformed Theology base package - Berkhof, Boettner, the usual .... and a Puritan base package ...
Systematic Theology - Norman Geisler http://www.logos.com/product/3598/systematic-theology
I'll second this one!
How about the Theological Reference Bundle!

By the way, Logos Christmas thread in Logos 4 Windows forum has more sale ideas.
We're putting together this year's Christmas promotions and we'd like your input! Any ideas you'd like us to consider?
Last year's 2010 Christmas Master Collection had a number of "incomplete" collections within it. It would be really cool if the "missing volumes" as listed by Praiser in this Excel file, would be made available piecemeal for a flat fee per title ($5? $8, $10? each) so we can fill in the gaps of our incomplete collections.
I know this probably undermines one of the objectives of excluding some titles last year but it doesn't hurt to ask.
Praiser's wonderfully helpful post last year is to be found HERE. .
There are many resources I would like to have but am struggling to name which ones I would like to see special deals on. However, I would like to see something like "100 resources for $100" where we pick the resources.
What I'd really like for Christmas is for Logos to offer the New Studies in Biblical Theology.
Of products Logos can currently offer I'm most interested in the Zondervan Biblical Theology Collection.
I missed the Focus on the Bible Commentary set on pre-pub. I would like to get the set at a good price
Another nice resource would be the Perseus Art & Archaeology Artifact Browser integrated into our Biblical Places resource.(Just the Archeology part)
Now I am crying...what a twit am I for not being on Twiter...maybe Logos could offer this again so that I stop crying by Christmas [:'(]
Barth's Church Dogmatics for the prepub price of $300.
Please, please, please!!!!!!!

I was torn between "Yes" and "No" on that one. I sat at the computer until it expired with the product description open....... I did not get it in the end because I owned two of the minor resources already. It was Sooo tempting!
How about taking a few of the preliminary commentary sets that have 'update' sets, and selling the original plus the update(s) for the price of the original only? I'm thinking of Pillar and New American, but there are several others.
I'd like nothing more than an agreement with P&R for the Reformed Expository Commentary series, or Zondervan for the Michael Horton and Gregg Allison theologies.
Now I am crying...what a twit am I for not being on Twiter...maybe Logos could offer this again so that I stop crying by Christmas
Personally refreshing twitter page daily => http://twitter.com/#!/logos (also checking if library already has resource).
I want Logos to offer the Nelson Bible Reference Bundle (200 vols.) [WBC, Preacher’s, and More!] for $399.95 like the third party does. That way I can get it through Logos. If that doesn't work, then I guess I will have to go through a third party to get it; but nothing would please me more this xmas than to have it through Logos at that price.
DA
I third this one!!!!!!!
Barth's Church Dogmatics for $300!!!
May want to verify 3rd party availability at that price; remember forum discussion many months ago => should I? - WBC Apologies: currently unable to find item in stock (noticed no longer listed on several web sites). Seem to remember sale earlier this year for Nelson Bible Reference Bundle (200 vols.) [WBC, Preacher’s, and More!] (possibility for 12 Days of Logos ?).
Dear Santa Claus,
Please have your elves make these Logos resources:
1. An Exegetical Commentary: Revelation (2 volumes) by Robert L. Thomas
http://www.logos.com/product/5283/an-exegetical-commentary-revelation
2. Preachers Collection (7 volumes)
http://www.logos.com/product/3618/preachers-collection
3. Charles Ryrie Legacy Collection (31 volumes)
http://www.logos.com/product/5364/charles-ryrie-legacy-collection
4. Socio-Rhetorical Commentary Series (8 volumes)

As always Oreos and cold milk will be waiting...

Douglas - The resource that you referenced was originally packaged by the publisher and sold elsewhere. They no longer do so. The resource(s) were sold on physical media (CD's). The price you mentioned was a "fire sale" to get rid of "old" stock.

Hi Alabama, I just got an email from a third party again yesterday offering this same price so there must still be some in stock. You are correct that it is on physical media.
I'm hoping for a good price for....
1. Hermeneia and Continental Commentaries Series
2. Zondervan Bible Reference Bundle
3. HALOT
4. Liddell-Scott
I'd like to see Waltke's OT Theology sold separately. All of his works are currently bundled with others.
Alabama, I just received an e-mail offering that product. I contacted the third party and they still have it available, I just can't purchase it now. I guess I'll have to wait for logos to make the bold sale and offer it at the same price the 3rd party does. If not, it's ok, it won't be the end of the world if I don't get it...hehe
1. An Exegetical Commentary: Revelation (2 volumes) by Robert L. Thomas http://www.logos.com/product/5283/an-exegetical-commentary-revelation
I second this request.
Steve
Barth's Church Dogmatics for the prepub price of $300. I third this one!!!!!!! Barth's Church Dogmatics for $300!!!
Seconding and Fourthing this one [Y]
It's not a resource. But what I would like to see is a way for my friends and family to buy me Logos gift cards. That way I'm VERY easy to buy for this year Plus if there were some good deals to spend my gift money on then that would be good too.
Logos
Logos gift cards would make life soooooo much easier! I second this idea!
NIDOTTE
Theological Journals
Being able to buy individual volumes of NICOT/NICNT would be a great Christmas present.
(see...I didn't even ask for a discount!)
That would be an unbelievable special. The best sale price I've ever seen on Barth was $625.
