Is there a way within Logos to tell whether I am running JG or KF?
Soli Deo Gloria,
Randy
What are either of those things?
Not yet.
They added the highest base package level purchased to the "About Logos Bible Software" window in the current 4.5 beta version.
Until it is released, this link will tell you what base package level you are at: http://www.logos.com/upgrade
Those are the version codes of the base package (which is different from the software version). The base package version changes when Logos decides to add or delete resources from the package. The current base packages are version JG.
Todd, do you know what resources were added in JG?
what resources were added in JG?

While the software itself doesn't tell you, you should be able to tell from the Logos website:
Likewise, if you bought the package from Logos, you should be able to see what you bought under Accounts | Orders. HTH.

Would be a good idea to have a version tab in the help menu (most programs these days seem to have it) labelled 'About Logos 4'. Surprised that for such an elegant program that it does not have a program version - a bit like a Rolls Royce without its bonnet (or hood for you Americans) badge.
Do you mean like this?
Would be a good idea for this to be added to the Logos program. The upgrade version under the help menu and on the 'About Logos' tab seems about the best place to have it. Surely it is not much effort to give the upgrade version, saving the hassle of having to go to the account upgrade web page to find where you are. Such an elegant program is missing a very simple feature - bit like a Rolls Royce missing its bonnet (hood, for you Americans) badge.

I think you misunderstand George. This is in my program now.

Using Logos 4.5 Beta 9 on Windows, can click "?", then "About Logos Bible Software" to show current base package:
Also, my Logos orders page has upgrade purchases => https://www.logos.com/user/orders
Edit: my orders include $ 0.00 to "Upgrade Scholar's Library: Platinum (LE) to Scholar's Library: Platinum (KF)" and "Upgrade Scholar's Library: Platinum (KF) to Scholar's Library: Platinum (JG)" In contrast, "Upgrade from Scholar's Library: Gold (ND) to Scholar's Library: Platinum (LE)" and "Upgrade from Scholar's Library (RA) to Scholar's Library Gold Edition (ND)" cost hundreds of $.
