Issue with Shopping Cart?
I tried purchasing a book on weekend and it came up with message: We have a problem with our shopping cart and are working to fix it.
Tried again today and still get same error message. Even after emptying my cart and re-adding the title still get the same error. Anyone else having this issue ?

No problem here. (Firefox 7.0.1)
Have you tried a different browser?

I apologize for any problems you have been experiencing with the shopping cart over the past week. I am working with the web team to resolve this issue as soon as possible. With many people out of the office for the holidays, this may take a few days. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused, and appreciate your patience. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.
Thanks,
Brian

It looks like there are two different problems here.
Andrew, the flaw that caused you to get that message has been fixed. The code that solves it will go out on next Wednesday. Obviously you've found a workaround by using a different browser.
Graeme, we are still trying to figure out the issue that is causing you problems. I'll report back when we've solved it.

Hi Graeme,
We found the bug that caused the error in your checkout attempt. It appears that under certain circumstances the checkout page shows that it is using a particular card but actually it is trying to use a card that was deleted (and therefore cannot be retrieved). We haven't released a fix for this yet, but it should come out next week.

This looks like the right thread to mention that on the Android app I am not able to check out. I seem to loop at the place order button. Haven't tried the website yet.

I am seeing the same thing on the iPad using Safari.
I was able to successfully check out using the Chrome browser on my Windows laptop

EDIT: From notification emails received it looks as though the "Place Order" command was working on the iPad, I just wasn't being told that it had been successful. Hence the order was placed about four times - I'm pleased that I was ordering free books at the time!

I've been having this problem for a week or two. I've tried emailing every Vyrso email address without any response. I have 5 Free books in my shopping cart in my Safari browser, if I use Firefox my shopping cart is empty and the books are no longer available for free.

I could't check out over the weekend from my Android browser but had no problem on Chrome from my computer. I just kept clicking the button to purchase on the checkout screen and kept getting the same shopping cart over and over again without a purchase made.

I had the same problem using mobile Safari on my iPad. I went to Vyrso's homepage and clicked full site. I was able to complete the purchase just fine. I wonder if this is a mobile issue?

I'm using a laptop with a wireless connection.

Good news: Today we fixed one problem with mobile checkout.
Bad news: There is still another issue that we are working on. If you get the "We are working on it" message, try selecting your credit card again. This seems to clear everything out and let you continue with checkout.
