Adding a bottom border

In our church service, we do not put the screen the whole way down. To accommodate the worship team, we put a black border at the bottom of our powerpoint slides so they do not have the projector bulb in their face. Is it possible to put a black border at the bottom of the slides in Proclaim? Thanks for any help.

I don't believe this is possible currently.

Similar requests have been made in the past but I don't know if it is in any plans.

Hi Christina,

What you're asking is possible with a little effort. You need to do two things:

1. Either use a black background or upload a custom background. If you have an example slide in powerpoint, export a blank (no text) slide as a jpg and then upload it into Proclaim to use as a background. Or you could build a custom background in the paint program of your choice.

2. Create a song service item, choose the background from step 1, then click on the "Customize" link. Reposition and resize the text fields to ensure they only display in the upper part of the slide, out of your worship team's faces.

3. When creating additional song service items in the future, select your already-customized slide from the "Recent" items list in the Add Items dialog.
