Thanks for your response. Unfortunately rebooting didn't fix the problem. I also don't have either of the files that you ask for. I didn't enable logging before I started getting this hang (although there was a version of the nlog.config file in the logging folder when I downloaded the version from your other thread). Is it possible that the indexer is not starting? I am attaching the Logos4.log. I am going to try reinstalling the application to see if that takes care of the problem...

I tried reloading the application with the same results. A2 hangs in the same place, "Logging in..." and the only log file I can find is Logos4.log (new one attached).

I am deleting all Logos4 for Mac on my system and reinstalling. I'll let you all know if it works.

I did install on my Mac through Windows (VM Ware Fusion) and it is working well. I've even sync'd with my iPhone and am very, very impressed!

I seemed to have a seriously messed-up system as the files your requesting aren't in the locations you specified. The file:

/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging/Indexer.log

is in the directory:

/Users/<my_user_name>/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Logging

but the file is zero bytes. There is a Logos4.log (attached).2642.Logos4.log

The file:

"/Users/<your_user_name>/LauchAgents/com.logos.LogosIndexer.plist"

is actually here (and would be attached but the file type isn't supported by Community Server - without modifying the list of allowed types)

/Users/<my_user_name>/Library/LaunchAgents

I'm very new to using a Mac so if I've misunderstood the directory / file locations and everything acutally is correct... my apologies.

I had the exact same problem. I redownloaded the alpha version from the web. I noticed that for some odd reason it stopped downloading at 48 MB when the file size was 58Mb. The wierd thing was that it worked at all. I re downloaded, got the full version, reinstalled and rebooted and it worked like a charm.

A2 works for me. Have you tried re-downloading the .dmg file from your "Orders" page in "Account Info" from the logos web site. Perhaps you have a corrupted or incomplete application file

Just replace the file in the "Applications" folder. Though backing up the LibraryIndex folder found under /MacintoshHD/Users/YourUsername/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/lvlm8k7c.3bj/ is not a bad idea. Reinstalling just the application shouldn't mess with this file, but if you do need to delete the Logos4 folder found under application support, in theory you should be able copy this folder to its necessary location and not need to re-index. Admittedly, I have never tested it. Hopefully reinstalling the app over-top of itself does the trick. Back up the index folder just to be safe...and pray.

Steven you are the best!!!!! That seemed to work. Im still having some problems with missing resources and it grayed out my commentary list and some other things and whatnot but at least its not freezing up at logging in.

Thomas, the A3 is out now, so you should not have to do anything described above. Make sure to download the latest Alpha release and that should help.
