Interesting - updated it and tried to start it, but it crashed!
As you know I am seeing the same thing with the updated Logos app.
There is something strange going on here - I'm starting to wonder whether it is something to do with location (I am in the UK)

Deleted the Vyrso app.
Reinstalled it and started it
Was asked to sign in so entered my username and password and successfully started the app
Was asked if I wanted to download the NRSV for better performance and declined. While this box was visible I could see what looked the contents of my library in the library screen.
After declining the download the app crashed
and it continues to crash when I try and start the app

You may need to provide a crash log. Let's see what Logos has to say. If you need me to tell you how to do that, let me know.

Think I'll wait - I've spent hours and hours downloading books to vyrso! Thanks for the warning. I'll be interested to hear how others get on.

Nicky - I know that you are not in an ideal internet situation... you will be glad to know that they have implemented a download all feature!

We are now automatically receiving crash reports, and will be looking into the problem that you have experienced with the updated app. Thanks for your feedback!

Thanks, Alabama. Does download all mean download all the books you'd already downloaded and lost? It would still take an awfully long time to redownload, as our internet is also slow. I have downloaded all my vyrso books and many Logos books. I can now normally limit the time I spend on visits to the internet at church.

Nicky - the release notes for the Logos app suggest that "Media resources that had been downloaded must be removed and redownloaded". I am not sure why this is the case - it may be that the app requires newer versions of the documents. Since the Vyrso app is based upon the Logos app, I assume this would be the case as well.

"Download all" means "download all the books that are not on your iOS device." However, you can filter the library and download a selection (i.e. filter for just Vyrso books and download them). "Download all" does NOT redownload books which you have already downloaded since upgrading to 2.0. What I mean is this: If you download all your books today (lets say 100) and 2 months from now you have purchased 25 more, "Download all" will download 25 books, not 125.

Thanks, Alabama. That way I can get my vyrso books, but I still have loads of Logos books I want to read in vyrso. I guess I wait and see....
