Song Select and changing font size

It seems that when I import lyrics to songs from Song Select there is a formatting issue. I try to increase the size of the font, but it will only go to 54 or 55 and that is it. I have read the posts about increasing the font size and none of that helped. I do not want to type all the lyrics in to all my songs. When I do type something in it will increase in size to whatever I want but will not do it with import from Song Select. This is a game changer for me it it doesn't work.

I am using Proclaim and SongSelect, but have not experienced this specific limitation.

Are you Mac or PC? If you let me know which song you are struggling with (title and author), I will see if I can replicate at my end?

The text size will not increase if it would involve any line of the song splitting to two lines.

Check and see if you have a long line - split it manually - and then try increasing the size.

Apologies, Greg, I am not experiencing this limitation. Which songs specifically are you referring two (just give me a couple of titles and authors).

Firstly, great song choice. We sing a number of those songs.

I messed around Jesus Paid It All and you are correct that the font size will not increase beyond 58.

As Mike has stated, Proclaim will prevent you from going over the edges of the screen area. The verse/line length and layout of the song will, therefore, limit how large you can make the text.

Taking Jesus Paid as an example, I managed to increase the font size to 68. I did this by using the Customise tab (far left of the screen) to stretch the borders of the presentation. The text would not increase beyond 68. If you want to go larger than this, you will need to change the layout and split the longer lines (as Mike has suggested). 'Child of weakness watch and pray', etc., is no doubt the culprit.

Let us know if this still isn't working for you.

The development team do monitor the forums and will, no doubt, respond should they have any further advice.
