Hebrew Morphological searching, SBL font, and more

First let me apologize for not understanding how, or when, or where to post a blog. I have never in my life done this before, so it is not in my area of competence.
Thanks for responding so quickly. I have looked over everything. My biggest problem was using BHS/WIVU. Most problems have gone away using Anderson-Forbes. I ran a search on h:dbr and got 0 results from most of the lemmas on WIVU. I changed to Anderson-Forbes and got intelligible results in every case so far.
Attached are screenshots of a BHS/WIVU search which worked (zohar) and an Anderson-Forbes search, both with SBL Hebrew font in the result window. The Anderson Forbes works *much* better, but still in a couple of cases the letters are crowded or words run into each other (note line 3). In the BHS/WIVU, many of the letters are crowded or words run into each other, and lines 1, 3, 5, and 8 have misplaced vowels. If I copy and paste with SBL Hebrew into the Notes tool, sometimes the top line or 2 are gibberish. I will be using Anderson-Forbes from now on. Notice that in the font in the the window, Ezra SIL, everything is perfectly spaced and placed.
I would think changing the hit color to something darker (like red) would be simple programming, but I can live with the light orange.
One or two other questions: 1) do you have a true root search (search by Hebrew tri-literal root), or are all morphological searches by lemma?
2) Are note files attached to passages (verses, chapters, or paragraphs), or is it the responsibility of the user always to document what passage it is, so it can be found/retrieved later?
Sorry for using a year old thread--I am of an age where this is the first time I have ever posted to a blog, and I really do not know how to do it.
Thanks for the advice on the memory requirements and/or search for a new computer. I will look into it.

I tried to attach two screen shots to the above, but only succeeded in attaching one. The other is now attached.

Mark,
Welcome to the forums!
You may want to post Logos usage questions in forum subsection General http://community.logos.com/forums/77.aspx (or in Logos 4 Windows/Mac when they are more technical) which receives more traffic than the Blog subsection. Adding screen shots works not by pasting them, but with the paper clip icon above the text field (counterintuitively it will recognize some file formats and display the pictures)
Hope this helps a bit (can't comment on Wivu searches etc, sorry)
I see that KS4J has already answered you here http://community.logos.com/forums/p/29772/340677.aspx#340677 - maybe he will pick up this thread, I'll cross-post.
Mick
(slightly edited after I saw your other post)

My apologies too, I should have included Logos Wiki link => http://wiki.logos.com/Using_the_Forum in my previous reply, which includes => Searching the forum using Google A search for site:community.logos.com hebrew morph finds many threads (including some that date back to 2009).
[:$] mea culpa, since using Logos 4 Mac and had replied in Logos 4 Mac forum, my suggestion for a new post was unclear; could have been in Logos 4 Mac forum.
By the way, Logos created this Logos Blog forum for discussion about Logos Blog articles => http://blog.logos.com/ that includes a live workshop article for Thu 23 Feb 2012 (with discount codes during workshop) => http://blog.logos.com/2012/02/watch-a-logos-training-workshop-live/

Currently Logos 4 morphological searches are by lemma, which includes homograph numbering.
Logos has another web site for user community suggestions and votes, which includes => Stem/Cognate Search

Depends on how note is created, whether is attached to a verse reference or selected text. Wiki has => http://wiki.logos.com/Notes that needs some updates for Logos 4.5 since Note Indicator options have expanded: can choose shape of indicator along with color. Also Logos 4 Mac has a known => Feature Parity issue:
- PC Notes can automatically hyperlink scripture in notes while hyperlink can be manually added on Mac
Logos 4.5 exposed all highlighting as notes, which are attached to selected text. Logos User Voice has suggestion => Highlighting and Notes Integration Improvements that was created after Logos 4.5 shipped. The Logos User Voice suggestion with the most votes is => Rework notes function - in one or multiple phases
The Files menu can be used to open a Note file. Also can click on a note indicator to open corresponding Note file.

Personally living and learning too. In 2009, the Logos forums was new to me. Another item that has been requested is locking old threads, which Logos has not done so periodically old threads receive new replies, especially when forum software suggests a thread that may be related.
Thankful for many friendly forum discussions primarily focused on using Logos Bible Software; I have learned a lot and know I have a lot to learn.

Observation: width of search panel affects spacing between words:
Logos uses Anderson Forbes morphology for English reverse interlinear along with AFAT and LHI. Morph Search in AFAT shows specific lemma while LHI includes lemma's, which are part of Hebrew words.

[Y] wish Logos 4 on Mac and PC would use system preferences for highlight color.
