Error loading book - Could not load the specified book

I get the message "Error loading book - Could not load the specified book" when trying to open NT Wright 1 Corinthians on my iPhone

I have just successfully opened this in Vyrso on my iPad (sorry I don't have an iPhone to check).
Have you downloaded the resource? If so you might try removing it and trying it online.
If that works, try downloading it again

From what I can see they don't get downloaded on an iPhone, other books are ok

This happens from time to time. Which app are you using (I assume Vyrso, but just checking)? Have you tried to access the book with the other app (Logos or Vyrso)? What is your internet connection like? Have you tried using a different wifi location?

That's bizarre.
I have just successfully downloaded Wright's 1 Corinthians volume to my Vyrso app on my Android phone
With the iOS app being ahead of Android I am surprised it doesn't work
Hopefully someone else with an iPhone will be able to shed some light on this.
Presumably you are running iOS 5.1 and Vyrso 2.1?

I just took the app off the phone (using iTunes) and then put it back on and signed in and I can now access the book. Strange. Thanks for the help

These are old versions of the app - which may be relevant to this - the latest stable release is 4.6.4
What iOS version are you using? Are you able to upgrade to a more recent version of the Vyrso app?

Kinda figured that was the issue.
I have a 1st Gen iPad so its already upgraded as far as it can go.
Guess its time to upgrade.

On this specific one Faithlife would need to comment on whether the resource will run on your version of the app
In general, more and more resources will be produced which will require more up-to-date versions of the app so you will probably come across this more and more until you upgrade.
