Favorites

Question
Is the favorites folder working in Mac L4?
I do not recall reading anything about it not working. (running latest beta)
I try to drag links from other sources to the favorite folder and it doesn't happen.
Now this works on my PC windows machine.
My question is; does it work on Mas at this time?
thanks

Just checked and it is working fine for me on 4.5b (4.52.0.2176). Another user did mention some difficulties too this morning in another (unrelated) thread. Can you put a favorite into a folder? He was having troubles placing a link without using a folder.

Yes, can drag open tabs in Logos 4.5b Release Candidate 2 (4.52.0.2176) to create a favorite.

Concur dragging external links has green "+" appear in favorites, but releasing mouse does not create a favorite, thread => BUG: Dragging External Links to Favorites has a workaround => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/48409/358909.aspx#358909 (drag to shortcut bar, then drag shortcut to favorites)

Tried dragging link from a "One Note" tab to shortcut bar.
It would not work for me.
I'll keep working with things, maybe something will change.

Apologies: personally not have One Note. Using Logos 4.5b RC 2 on Mac OS X 10.6.8, was able to drag "Preview" application to create a shortcut in Logos 4 Mac
Clicking shortcut opened Preview application. Likewise in finder, could drag an external file (PNG image) to create a shortcut in Logos 4 Mac. Clicking the image shortcut opened the PNG file in Preview (shortcut had the file name).

Okay...found way to get files from "One Note" into 'Favorites" folder.
Went to 'Documents" in "Finder' and opened 'One Note' file to the one note folder where I had a file located. Then I dragged the file to shortcut bar, then into "Favorites". It Worked!
So this is a work around I guess you would call it.
Maybe this works with other types of files too.
thanks for tips

Rejoicing with you [8-|] plus work around (Finder drag file to create shortcut, then drag shortcut to Favorites) is an option for other files.

Hi,
I have just purchased Logos 4 (For Mac) in the last few days and learning my way around the programme.
I also have problems with adding web links to 'favourites' folder. Can someone tell me whether the team of Logos 4 are aware of this and will seek to find a solution?
Thank you.

The workaround (posted earlier in this thread) => http://community.logos.com/forums/p/48409/358909.aspx#358909 (drag to shortcut bar, then drag shortcut to favorites) was posted by a Logos employee (blue logo under avatar).
Wiki has => Logos 4 Beta Program with information and risks. Currently not know if code generation changes coming in next Logos 4.5c Beta releases will affect this favorites issue => 4.5c changes in UI generation

is drag & drop into favorites working in L4 mac now?
I still can't get it to work.
It did work at one time (or there was a work around) because I have links to files in Onenote.
thanks

Not yet; using Logos 4.5c Beta 3 on OS X can drag and drop to create a shortcut, which then can be dragged to Favorites. However, drag and drop into Favorites is not working.
