Bug: L4 4.0b latest Release not indexing

Came home and updated the latest books that Logos had downloaded. It was stuck on 99% for the longest. Finally, shut down the computer.
Now when I start it up, the index crashes, and it has started indexing all over again.

Interesting.
The log shows that a file (C:\Users\Family\AppData\Local\Logos4\Data\ma3hbap0.2ir\LibraryIndex\index-build.lxn) the Indexer needs access to is being used.
Try opening up Task Manager, go to the Processes tab and be sure there are no instances of Logos4Indexer running. If you find any, end the process.
Restart Logos with Task Manager open and see if you get two instances of the Indexer (I doubt you will, but don't have any other idea how that file would be being used).

Thanks Mark. I have shut it down, give the command to rebuild index, one hour later I cam back and it was finished, usually takes 4 hours or more. Started the software and same problem. Only one instance of anything resembling Logos is in the Process tab running.
Fortunately, it does not stop the software from running. The index did crash, and I am getting the message that some results cannot be displayed, while the library is being indexed. Where is the index file located? I want to delete it and see what will happen. While I go to work, it can be working as well.

Logos 4 has a number of index files. Curious if Logos4IndexerError.log file has more errors about unable to update locked file ? If so, wonder about restarting computer ?

Does the following file exist on disk? If so, can you delete it with Windows Explorer (while Logos isn't running)? If so, does that fix the crash?

Tech support had me delete several files and the problem continued to occur. Just saw your response, after I did an uninstall. It is now preparing the library. Thanks Bradley.
