I was going through some books I had downloaded in Vyrso and wanted to delete them.

Is there a simple way of doing this ?

Hi Erik. Welcome to the forums!

The only "simple" way to delete large numbers of resources, is to delete the app and redownload it. Otherwise it is one at a time. If you are only wanting a way to view the downloaded resources to decide which ones to delete, switch to airplane mode. Only your downloaded resources will be in the library, and you can then find the ones you want to delete.

    Hi alabama24,

I actually want to delete them completely so that are no longer even an option to download. As soon as you switch airplane mode off they show up again as downloadable. Is this possible at all.

    Thanx...

    Hi Erik

If by "deleting completely" you mean that you don't want to be able to read them on Vyrso or on any other Logos software you use then the only way to do this is to contact Logos customer service and ask them to remove the licence from your account.

This would mean that you can never get them back again.

There is no way to have them readable but not downloadable

Apologies if I misunderstand what you are wanting to do here

    Hi Graham,

Strange that you can't edit it yourself. I have some books that are absolute rubbish that you wouldn't even keep for references to rubbish. Might be a thought of giving the user the option to have control over which books he/she wants on their iPad..

I will contact  customer service the have them removed from my account.

    Thanx...

    Agreed!

This capability is provided within the Logos 4 application (Mac & Windows) via the ability to "hide" a resource. This removes it from your Logos library and hard drive while you retain licence to it and can redownload it from Logos servers if required.

Various requests have been made to ensure that documents "hidden" in Logos 4 are not visible on mobile devices as well as requests for direct control of this from within the mobile apps themselves.

We haven't yet seen how Logos are going to respond to this.
