Hebrew BHS Text Does Not Paste Correctly from Logos to Microsoft Word 2008

When I use either the "Copy Bible Verses" function, or simply commnd+C, and paste the Hebrew text into MS Word 2008 for Mac, the text is inverted and copies left to right. However, pasting into Text Edit or Pages works fine.
Seems to be a problem with Word and not Logos, but I don't know what setting to fix in Word.
I am pasting from BHS with Westminst. Morphology 3.5.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks.

Welcome [:D]
Concur Word on Mac has issues with right to left text handling; one idea is using LibreOffice => LibreOffice Mac and Hebrew
Couple other ideas are Mellel and Scrivener.

Caveat: I am using Word 2010 and my OS is Windows 7. Perhaps, however, my recollection of some of the features in previous editions of Word might be applicable to your situation. I seem to recall that in previous editions for the PC it was necessary to change the language settings to account for the difference in R—>L from the normal L—>R of most modern western languages.

Rosie had a post on how to accomplish this about a month ago, you’ll have to do a search for it….

I would recommend Mellel for Hebrew, unless you need it for Personal Books, then I'm not sure.

Word 2010 on Windows has option to choose language, including Hebrew. Newer Word 2011 on Mac preferences supports 7 languages: English, German, French, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, and Brazilian, which are all left to right.
Logos 4 Mac thread => Export to Word... but Not Pages? shows Hebrew can be copied and pasted into Word 2011 on Mac OS X so word order remains correct.
ZDNet has an article from August 2010 => http://www.zdnet.com/blog/apple/microsoft-boosts-languages-proofing-tools-in-office-2011-for-mac-unicode-right-to-left-support-missing/7876

That could be true, however, I never use it since the program seems to automatically detect the correct direction.

KS4J,
thanks! I'll check these out. The answer has to be here somewhere.

R4M,
thanks. Maybe the same setting is in both windows and Mac apps. If I find out I'll let you all know.

All,
quick update. After reading looking into other threads and the articles provided by KS4J above, it looks like there is no easy solution for this problem in Mac 2008. I'll be looking into other apps. If anyone else has this issue, I think the best advice is to simply use another app, or upgrade to Word for Mac 2011 (I read that the RTL issue was fixed in a later update, though the app still has performance issues).
Thanks again for all the help.
