If you have automatic updates turned on, 4.5b SR 1 will be downloaded automatically the next time your system checks for updates. To install it right away, enter the Update Now command. If you encounter problems with the auto update, download 4.5b SR 1 from this link.

It wouldn't load. It crashed at the sign in screen every time.
I had no time to log it, so I just deleted the app and downloaded the previous release.
Hopefully someone else will log the error and the problem will be apparent.

I am getting the bar at the top but it will not fully launch since installing the update.

Curious about Mac OS X version ?
Apologies: unable to replicate issue(s) since Logos 4.5b SR-1 is working on Mac OS X 10.6.8; another thread => Logos 4 Mac won't fully open has similar description as Michael.
One option is contacting Logos Mac Support => http://www.logos.com/about/contact
The other suggestion is enabling, then posting diagnostic log files (in a compressed archive) for Logos user and employee comments. Hopefully the log files provide insight about not fully opening and crashing.
Could enable diagnostic logging, restart Mac, launch Logos 4 Mac, click "Sign In" if dialog box appears. If Logos Bible Software 4 window does not appear, wait for 4 minutes. If still no window, then compress log files and attach to a forum reply. Wiki Mac Troubleshooting has => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac
Optional: download and use 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.

If could combine post counts, then would be the top forum poster. Caveat: on earth, estimate about 1,750 miles between alabama24 and myself.
Wonder if reading iPhone/iPad forum provides different insight since alabama24 is a beta tester for Logos iOS mobile apps.
Personally puzzled by 3 updates to Logos 4.5b SR-1 on Mac not working.
