IPAD Split Screen and Hyperlinks

I am currently using the split window feature on my IPAD but have noticed a change from the earlier versions of the IPAD APP.

The way it currently works is if I have the NKJV open on the left and say Pulpit commentary on the right and SYNC enabled if I am in the book of Genesis in the NKJV in the left window and the Pulpit Commentary on Genesis on the right as I move throught the NKJV in Genesis the commentary onthe right tracks. Further if I click on a hyperlink defined to a bible passage in the commentary it would cause the left window to jump to that bible passage.

What i use to be able to do is have the NKJV open in both windows and if I clicked on a hyperlink in the NKJV on the left window the right window would jump to the link but the left window would remain at the original passage. Now both windows jump to the hyper link location. I've tried it with sync on and off. If sync is off then only one window jumps but again I lose my orginal reading position. Has this changed or was I imagining this functionality? I found the previous way useful as I could read the references (hyperlinks) without losing my place. I know I can tap the screen and use the arrow in the upper left to go back but that adds a step.

Dennis - First, welcome to the forums!

Has this changed or was I imagining this functionality?

I don't think this is possible, and I am unaware of it working before. What you are wanting, to use Logos 4 terminology, is the ability to set one side of the split screen to "send hyperlinks here." Is that right?

Yes that is correct. I do actually remember that feature working as I used it often. Are you aware of anywhere that Logos actually documents the features they implemented on the Ipad. The tutorials are low level at best. I could not find a list of features on the IPad app and their functionality explained. It seems that use is determined by users trial, error and experimentation and then shared on forums. I am sure the developers know what features they implemented and how they wanted them to work. Where is the documentation?

    Where is the documentation?

There is none. I will ask someone about this.
