Philippians 4: 4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand..........

Hopefully nothing in terms of content - but a great deal when it comes to having things spelt and presented in UK English rather than all those 'quirky' American spellings. [:D]

It's not just spelling. Some words have different connotations either side of the Atlantic.
E.G. Samson being tied down by seven fresh "thongs" puts a different image into the minds of the British than it does to Americans.
I'd love the ESV in British english.

That's not a pretty thought...
A bowstring (Jdg 16:7) is a worse thought!

Sorry to say it does not go far enough. Some “Americanisms” are
retained.Psalms 46:6 “The nations rage, the kingdoms totter; (moved, shaken) he utters
his voice, the earth melts.”Psalms 59:11 “Kill them not, lest my people forget;
make them totter by your
power and bring them down, O Lord, our shield!”They really could have done better!

As an Englishwoman who is allergic to Americanisms, I consider totter to be perfectly English!

I don't like ESV at all. I'm NOT a potential buyer of the Anglicized version.
But I would like to have these 2 Bibles:
