FSB community notes

I am looking through the FSB.  I like what I see so far.  Are the community notes from others supposed to be accessable through the FSB and if so how (I see the plus sign that opens a comment but I believe this is not a community note but part of the FSB commentary on the verses)?  I would really like to see the comments others in the community have for various verses in the bible.

Tim, there may not be a community note where you've been looking. I recently saw one at Hebrews 11:11. Try there. You are looking for an empty rectangular green speech bubble

The Community Notes are unrelated to the FSB and a recent feature of Logos (you'll see them in a separate pane if you open Tools/Community Notes or the fourth tab on Biblia.com or click one of the green rectangular speech bubbles). Note that you'll only see Notes of Faithlife groups you belong to - I'd suggest you join Faithlife Beta group which may have some notes.

I do not see one but I am wondering if there is a FSB study notes (which is what I have) and also an FSB translation which is maybe what you're looking at where you see the note?  Am I looking in the right place (The FSB I am looking at is on the right in the screenshot)?

I see where I can create a group but can I enter an already established group so I can see/share notes already in progress and if so how do I do it?

Tim, I am reading the NASB95 and the notes show there. You need to be a member of a community group, so if you haven't try joining the Faithlife Beta group. Go to https://faithlife.com/faithlife-beta/activity and join.

You also need to display the Community Notes in the Bible you are using. Click on the triple circle icon and check the community groups you belong to to see what others in those groups have posted.

    Hi Tim,

I see that you joined Faithlife Beta and some other groups. Good!

So now you should be able to see the Community Notes. For example, go to John 3:16 where you should see e.g. a note from Philana Crouch and one from Joshua Williams. You may reply to them or write your own notes.

Unfortunately there's right now no way to search where there are notes. A feature that tells the group that a member just made a note is in development - right now you need to manually alert the group (e.g. by sharing the reference or quote).

A case study could be to set up a group that reads a certain book.

Could someone tell me where I can find information about what COMMUNITY NOTES are and how they are used. I have looked in the help files and on the web and can't find any information. Thanks

    David,

Check out the video on this webpage. It's brief, but it provides an introduction to the feature.
