Logos not launching with latest Mountain Lion Developer Release

I realize I'm using Logos on a pre-release version of the Mac OS (so don't flame me :-)

Just wanted those working with Mountain Lion to be aware that, at least on my machine, the latest ML Developer Release (12A248) kept Logos from launching all the way. Curious to see if that's the case with everyone, and wanted others to be forewarned if they use Logos on their test machines.

No. The user can select the level of "sandboxing" required by the OS. You can restrict apps to:

1. only those purchases from the app store,

2. only those apps from identified sellers, or

3. apps downloaded from anywhere.

I have the third option selected.

I am having the same problem. Same selection in sandboxing. Ran great before last dev update. Wonder what I broke? [;)]

When using the general release of Logos 4 it will launch, but show no home screen or main windows. I can open a library window, but not open any books in the library. When I tried the beta, it would crash immediately without loading. Interesting.

You should try Xcode 4, Apple's developer tool to make Mac and iOS apps. It's been out for a full year and a half and it still feels like a pre-beta product!

Wiki Mac Troubleshooting has => Update Error if want to manually update application.

For crash analysis, one option is enabling logging, restart Mac, launch Logos 4 Mac. If crash repeats, then compress Logging folder and attaching zip file to a reply so Logos users and employees can look at log files. Wiki Mac Troubleshooting has => How to Report Bugs in Logos 4 Mac

Optional: download and use 5504.Logos4MacLogging.app.zip to display your logging setting, then change to enable logging.

the applescript application uses the terminal commands in wiki => http://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging#Mac

Optional: download and use Logos Log Scribe application to create a zip file on your desktop that includes your diagnostic logs plus a copy of console messages.
