Faithlife/Logos/Biblia/Vyrso for Android 1.1.3 Update Released
New versions of Logos, Biblia, Vyrso, and FSB apps are now available on the beta channel.
This is a minor update to the previous 1.1 release that addresses crash reports, forum feedback and an Amazon Appstore required change.
To immediately install or upgrade to this version you can click on the following links:
I'll post an update when these versions are also available via Google Play and the Amazon Appstore.
Recent Changes
- Added support for installing via Google Play on devices without location services
- Improved ease of clicking info icon in library list
- Improved size of reading view split-pane gripper on tablets
- About page only shows the Rate Us section when installed from a store (required for Amazon Appstore approval)
- Biblia! supports minimum Android OS 2.2 to work around Android limitations
- Fixed several v1.1 crash reports
Please report any issues you encounter on a separate thread along with your device model and Android version.

"Improved ease of clicking info icon in library list."
Definitely fixed the problem that I was having with the Galaxy Tab 2!

"Improved ease of clicking info icon in library list"
This is great! Using the icon to download resources works flawlessly now on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 P3113.

Agreed. The previous workaround worked good also, but this is much better. :-)

I'll be so happy when this shows up in the Amazon App Store.[:|] Not your fault, they are normally slower. Any ETA on when you might have highlighting available? I'm still jumping between my logos books and my Amazon Bible collection where I can highlight. Very excited about that finally coming to the tablet version of Logos.

I take that back. I do see a pretty consistent problem on ICS where the menu buttons are covered and not accessible by Faithlife app. By just going into Study Bible or in the middle pain click the expand icon.

Yes, there are a couple issues which are not particular to 1.1.3 but still should be looked into.
1) The inbuilt android bar that appears at the bottom of the screen (with the home, menu and return soft buttons) covers a great deal of the logos buttons. I see that this android bar does not appear in all apps suggesting that the app can be programmed to keep it from appearing and that would be good.
2) Confusion of taps and swipes. When I tap to the right of the text to flip pages, I frequently get the top and bottom menus instead (enter passage at the top, library/home/search/settings at the bottom). tapping to flip pages is much more convenient than swiping (considering how frequently one flips pages). I'd rather swipe up and down for menus and have the tap dedicated to pages flip only.

My Kindle Fire will NOT install this update. I have gone into the Device settings and enabled the install from unknown sources and it still starts the install and ends up saying it did not install. What to do?

Did you install the app via the Amazon Appstore? If so, it's best to wait until the update becomes available through Amazon.

I downloaded the file and it asked to install, I said OK. It went through the motions and then at the end said it did not install.
I also went to the APP store at Amazon and it just gives the option to Open Logos, not install.
