From what I have played with so far, VERY NICE!0

Sweet! And just when I was becoming pleased with where the Android app was, you had to go & up the stakes for iOS [:)]... and just when I had stopped using my iPad for everything cuz my Nexus 7 was fitting the bill. [:)]

Where are my reading plans in the update?

Well sure enough I found them as soon as posted the question. I didn't see the multipage notation in the portrait mode. See it in both modes now.

In the documents area on the homepage. Just swipe that area right or left until you get to the reading plans.
And a non-obvious but very helpful feature to get back to the homepage is a three-finger down swipe.

Thank you so much for the split screen notes! Now we can link to quotes and things in our notes!

Didn't like using the iPad logos app and now I'm all over it yipppeeeee!

Very nice, I like having access to all my note files on iOs but could you make it a bit more obvious which books are downloaded. Color in the information circle with something other than grey? How about green?

Looks very nice - thanks for this.

I agree this is really useful

I'm thrilled, but this menu is going to take time getting familiar with.

Love it so far. Thanks, Logos!

Very excited by potential for this update, and especially because it appears faster on my near-extinct iPhone 3G.
However, none of my reading plans are showing up anywhere, and note documents (not included in previous versions for iPhone 3G) don't sync with desktop (I'm making an assumption that they should!).
If and when these things get fixed I will be extremely happy with the app.

I crashed with notes open, and didn't think I would ever recover. It's critical to have an Internet connection.

I guess I am being dense here, but how do you get notes showing up in a linked panel? All I can seem to find are resources...

I'm running the app on my iPod (not iPad). When I go to the home page, I only see 4 tabs across the top (Library, Go, News, Account). I'm not seeing the "Documents" section you refer to, so am still confused as to how I can find my Reading Plans on the iPod. Please help!
Thanks...Jim

I, too, am having a difficult time finding the Reading Plans on my iPod. When I go to the home page, I am presented with 4 tabs (Library, Go, News, Account). Nowhere can I find the Reading Plans. Please help.
Thanks...Jim

Hi Richard

If you go to the Home Page, there is a panel at the top-right of the screen. This allows you to right/left-swipe between six panes with the second entitled "Devotions. This should contain your reading plans
Does this help?

I've just made a change in a notes document on the iPad and it is reflected in the desktop (and vice versa). So they should be synchronising. How long are you allowing for synchronisation to take place?

Right-swipe once on the "Go" pane and you will get to Devotions (which includes Reading Plans)

Jim - FIrst, welcome to the forums! [:)]
The reading plans are in the second search screen and the documents are in the fourth. I will post screen shots when I get a chance.
PS - In the future, it might be better to start a new thread. [;)]

Just to clarify Graham's comment a little...
When you are in the homepage section of the iPhone app, there are four buttons at the top. The second one looks like a magnifying glass, which is what I referred to previously as the search pane. When the search pane is selected, there are six panels you can swipe through. The FIRST is the "Go" panel. Here is the order:
- Go
- Devotions (also reading plans)
- Search
- Documents
- Guides
- Tools

Hi Graham.
Thanks for responding.

It doesn't! There are only a couple of devotionals. I have 5 reading plans in Logos4, at least one linked to a Faithlife group, and none are showing up at all.
Graham Criddle said:How long are you allowing for synchronisation to take place?
Plenty of time, and I can see Logos4 syncing but notes from iOS app don't appear. I'm beginning to suspect that notes shouldn't really be available for iPhone 3G and that there'll soon be whisked away. I've also just tried to add a community note, but that doesn't even appear in the iOS app, let alone Logos 4 or Faithlife!
But reading plans should be working as before. I'm sure there's a perfectly good explanation for it all!
Richard
EDIT: I just tried another community note and it worked this time. The first time I added it to MyFaithlife and it went nowhere. Second time I added it to my church's group (I'm the only member!) and it dutifully appeared in Logos 4 and Faithlife.com Curiously however, it still doesn't show up in the iOS app!
SECOND EDIT: The notes I added to MyFaithlife have also now appeared in Logos 4 in the community notes panel, but not on Faithlife.com.

Maybe I'm the only one but my reading plans DO NOT show up under devotionals on my ipad. However, they DO show up under the documents tab.
Strange.

What are the reading plans? Be specific about the resources.

Read ESV in one year - the one I use daily (duplicated)
Read Power through Prayer
21 Days on Prayer
Read Alone with God
All of them have appeared in the iOS app until this update.
