Searching tags and collections

Are you wanting to search your books for content, or search your library for books?

Search the library for books. Specifically, I want to download just certain collections or tags to my iphone and ipad without having to download my entire library or scroll and download each resource one by one.

Good. I was hoping this was what you were asking for. The answer is that this IS possible with a couple of provisos.

1. Tag the books in L4 with an absolute UNIQUE tag. History is no good, HistoryAnabaptist is perfect.
2. Allow the desktop and mobile app to sync. 
3. Search the library for the unique tag. There is no syntax, just the tag (i.e. HistoryAnabaptist, not mytag:HistoryAnapatist)
4. All of your mobile enabled books with that tag will appear.
5. Scroll slightly upward in the library. This will reveal the hidden "download all" button. 
6. The library will download all books that are shown (filtered for).

Thanks for the help! I tagged all the books I want to download with ipaddownload, but now the ipad app doesn't seem to be syncing the new tag nor some rating changes I did.

Hopefully, this is just because the app syncing is less persistent than we would like… Have you tried killing the app via the multitask bar? That should force a sync. Also, I would make sure your desktop app has synced by clicking the sync wheel.

I dont know what to tell you then, Stefan. I have heard of one or two others with similar problems, but it is working fine for me.
