Newest release created LARGE Notes font

Same thing happened to mine, but not with every note. I also noticed that some of the info on my home page has a really large font and others are the normal size.

I am noticing the same thing.

Do you also have isues scrolling through longer notes?

I have also noticed that the font in the "copy Bible Verses" panel is larger. That is not a complaint, just an observation.

Same. But when I dropped my font size down a few points I think it's easier to read than previously. Might be all in my head...

So far I haven't seen this in any of the note files I've opened. Are all of you who experience this on 10.8?

I am experiencing this on ML 10.8.1 and it is a bit of a dog's dinner. It is a bit obnoxious. It seems that the font and size I was using has defaulted to something else. I am not going to go back and reformat all of my notes, but they now look a bit of a mess! [:(]

I agree. And am on 10.8, too.
I remember a similar problem like this to an update awhile back that was subsequently fixed.

Now I have seen it, and it's very annoying. It looks to me like the issue is that text created with a fixed font size (in my case 16) remains at that size, while text created as 'Default' (with the Default at 16) has suddenly become very much larger than the setting tells it to be.
I would also presume this is some kind of system wide bug, since it seems to be the same issue as in BUG and missing items in Help>Shortcuts > 1).
A third hint is that it seems you need to do something more to the note file than just open it before the problem appears. Unfortunately I'm not sure exactly what I did, but it must have had something to do with fonts. Perhaps it began when I discovered that Shift-Opt-Cmd-V now works. Or perhaps just before that when I may have done a normal Cmd-V paste and found that it pasted with the wrong formatting and selected it and started changing size and style (don't think I changed the actual font). My guess would be that it started with some kind of change between a fixed size and Default size. (For obvious reasons I don't want to experiment in unaffected note files, but if I have to add a note to one of them I'll try to be more observant.)
Logos, please, we need an SR fix for this, not a two month wait or so for 4.6a.

I have remembered something else: at some point after I downloaded 4.6 I felt forced to lower the default text size one or two steps. Given that this means I now have to change the font slider in every new resource I open, it's not something I would have done lightly. There must have been something important that was suddenly way too large, and that couldn't be fixed by just moving the slider in that particular panel. I wish I could remember what it was.
The only thing I can think of is if the extra-large note font was even larger when I first saw it, and if changing the default text size turned out to be the only way to get it at least a little bit smaller. If so, it was a partial workaround, and not a partial cause, but I'm not at all sure. It could just as well have been something else that was too large, and my changing the default text size could have been what triggered the large notes font. I just don't know. Perhaps my memory comes back later.

I am really sick of my note file looking like this:
All of that should be 16, but as you can see, it clearly is not. And when I add a new note, the font size is so big that I can't even see the whole letters.
I presume this is another version of the same bug: REPEATABLE BUG in Notes: Font and Font size.

Another screenshot:
Both of these were first made with default font size, which is supposed to be 16. The title of the second was then selected and changed to an actual size 16. Not quite the same.
Also note that the 'text' before the cursor is two or three periods, but because the height of the box doesn't adapt to the huge unwanted font size it looks like spaces instead.
And while the font size of the default text is too large, the font size of the reference is too small.

Since Dominick has not, can you provide the screencast Barisa requested in the linked thread? Adding it to that thread would probably work, and if you post here I can tell Barisa a screencast has been captured and linked to in the thread.

That's a Windows bug. Replicating it requires features I don't have.

If you can reproduce the behavior described in the title of this thread you should be able to create a video capture of the behavior. Here is the software I use, and it is free http://www.techsmith.com/jing.html

If you had read my posts you would know that I have little idea what exactly I did before the files got corrupted, and what I once remembered I have already written down.
And even if I did know, how could I possibly capture something that happened weeks ago? That's like asking me to film my house on fire, after it's already burnt to the ground.
