Proclaim and how to repeat a slide

I see at the bottom of a content slide there is a button "Repeat".  I would like to repeat 10 sequential slides of content and I cannot figure out how to make a single slide or multiple slides repeat without duplicating them 2 or three times.  Suggestion?

    Hi Brian,

    Firstly, welcome to the forums!

Does Add Item/Image Slideshow meet your needs? You should be able to loop multiple images (by checking the repeat option), as per the screenshot below,

You can select the repeat option if you also select "Auto-advance every x seconds".

The slides in that service item will then advance through them repeatedly until you skip to the next item.

I am having the same problems with the "repeat" function, but the solution is not as simple as selecting the "auto-advance" selection. Thought the repeat box is next the auto-advance option, it is not lit up (faded into background), not even available for selection. So I can see the repeat option, but is not allowing to select it. All the rest of the options are lit up and available for selecting. Not sure why repeat is the only one not lighting up.

John, a couple of things regarding the "Repeat" option:

    - It will not become enabled until you have checked the "Auto-advance every X seconds" box.

    - It will not become enabled at all if you only have one image in your slideshow.

If you've verified both of those things and you're still unsuccessful, please post again with some more details about what it is you are trying to do. How many images do you have in the slideshow?

We use 10-15 slides for announcement rotator during preservice. I select 10 seconds. Still the repeat option is faded in background, unable to even be selected.

The Pre-Service Loop already "repeats" (that is, loops) and auto advances. Therefore, there should be no need to select either for the Pre-Service Loop, which is why you are not able to select it in that section.

It's odd that this is only allowed for images. Why not for groups? It would make sense to be able to add text to a slide/announcement that would repeat a certain amount of time then move on. On groups the repeat button is darkened and not an option with a group of slides. Why not for groups but yes for images?

Hi all, did we actually get an answer to this problem?  As I am having the same issue, and my slides are in the "Service" section (not "Pre-Service Loop")

Currently you would need to add images to an image slide show and then add auto advance and repeat.

However, in the near future we do plan to add a repeat option to groupings so you can easily group any slides and create a loop mid-service.

Brilliant, thanks for that.  It wasn't working with the Import Power Point function, but definitely works with the Image Slideshow.  Hooray :)

There's actually an way to create a loop.

    - Create an image slideshow

    - Click in Add images -> Browse Media/Import

    - Pick a transparent/blank image but don't add it

    - Click customize smart media and create a template with placeholders for text

Now you can use this Smart Media template to create loops and edit them as you want
