Logos automatically downloaded and installed 28.6 Mb of updates, restarted, and did a quick (about 5 minute) index, but in "about Logos" it is still showing SR-6 4.0.3.2984. I've tried restarting Logos, and rebooting my computer, but it doesn't show the update. I've tried the update now command, but it doesn't find any more updates. Any ideas? or is there a way to manually download and install the update? Thanks.

Did you read the Update at the top of Bradley's post?
The download was for the NKJV interlinear.
EDIT: now you've seen the update. It took me a long time to find it.
Bradley, please put it in bold until the release is released....

I did an update, but didn't get the SR-7 update. If it has already been released why haven't I gotten it?

For those wondering where the update is even though it says it is out, read the quote above. Not yet but soon.

Well, I got it. Guess I'm too impatient. Thanks, Logos!

That will cut down on some support calls I'm sure!Bradley Grainger said:Indexer no longer displays Windows Error Reporting dialog when encountering a corrupted resource
Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

After the installation of the NKJV, first index time showed 53 hours 16 minutes. Kind of scary, down to 17 hours in the last few minutes

For those of us who can't wait, is there any difference between "Update Now" and double-clicking the Synchronization icon? Both actions appear to cause the syncing wheel to turn, which I assume means that L4 is checking with the server to see if there's an update...
Thanks!
Grace & Peace,
Bill

Bill, I think clicking the sync wheel only causes a manual re-synchronization. I'll bet that doesn't look for an update or instead of using "Update Now" we'd be told to click on that wheel.
Why does it go round and round when checking for an update? Maybe it has a second purpose to indicate online activity?

I'm on my second 28.6mb download... I hope it's SR-7 and it's not re-downloading the first one.

It downloaded and installed without a hitch (4.0.3.3272). Thanks for your hard work, Logos!

I've got it too.

When I opened L4 tonight, I got the NKJV update in a 26.9 MB update. But to get to SR7 I had to force an update. I restarted 3 times, the update icon appeared briefly, but closed in a second without updating. Then I did Update Now and get to SR7.
Bradley, shouldn't this have happened without my intervention?

My update started, downloaded and installed automatically to SR-7 (4.0.3.3272)....no problems at all.

My SR-7 update was downloaded twice. First time it only downloaded and did not automatically install. I closed, then opened Logos 4. The update downloaded again, then prompted "click to install" in a balloon on the toolbar. I clicked, Logos 4 closed down and "install" fired up. When I re-opened Logos 4 it had successfully updated to SR-7.
Any reason I had to manually trigger the update?

Matthew, an update requires an install (Windows installer). A resource update doesn't, just a download and indexing.
If the first one didn't require an install, it was probably the NRSV (?) update and the second was the SR7 update.

WoW! You are right Chris. I didn't know about the NRSV resource update. I just figured the download did not take the first time. Both downloads looked about the same size. Thank you for clarifying that.

Mine is stuck at 0% of a 26.8MB update...I guess I'll leave the PC on tonight, though I think it's stuck...

Matt,
26.8 is a small download. I'd cancel it, close L4, use Task Manager to cancel the Logos4 processes, restart L4, see if it starts the update again, if not, put Update Now in the Command box and try to get it to go.

I have loaded SR7 and it works choice. Thanks Team

My system has downloaded this several times. Logos 4 tries to install, and I get an error message. It cannot read a file.
If I launch Logos 4, the only way to enter the program is to say "No" to question of whether I want to install updates (which will fail anyway). When I try the "update now" command, it appears not to do anything.

David have you tried rebooting the computer? Turn it off manually and then restart. I have found this to cure many of windows problems.

David, that looks like you need admin privileges. I think you need to close Logos and then right click the Icon and choose, run as admin.

I like the "toast." Thanks for the added visual feature.
