logos compatability issue and wont load

This is the same problem as occurs here except that you have Windows 8. See if you can apply the workaround suggested by Bradley. Alternatively, if you have Windows 8 version N or KN you can install this media pack from Microsoft.
BTW please Edit your post by clicking on the More button and remove the email address which can be harvested for dubious purposes.

Hi Dave, I think it is the problem reading the crashed log, but windows 8 is not letting download the media package
really frustrating. Thanks for your help though dave0 -

I asked because Logos will have to provide a fix - I suggest you contact Technical support as they could do something on your computer e.g. change the Play Sounds option where you can't.

This issue should have been resolved in 5.0a Release Candidate 1 for beta testers, and should be resolved in general when 5.0a ships to the stable channel. Please let us know if you continue to experience this crash after updating.
