Logos Bible App vs. Vyrso app - Battery life
I'm sure this isn't a new question but it is one that has me wondering. I have both apps on my android. I mainly only use my android phone for reading.
Does the vyrso use less battery than logos bible app?
It seems they both use a similar backbone but I dont know that for sure. I'm just wondering if Vyrso would by any chance use considerably less resources and so use much less battery.
Also I'd like to throw in another vote for a "define" option in the highlight menu.

Why would you think so? You've got me stumped… my guess is "yes"… but only if you are using Logos app only features (which are more wifi/internet dependent). If you were comparing Apples to Apples, I think the answer would be "no." I can't imagine that there would be anything more than a negligible difference between the two for using the same functions.

Yes. They share code.

I don't use Andriod… are you wanting to look up a word in an english dictionary, or use the underlying reverse interlinear in a Bible?

I find that while using the Logos app I burn through the battery in 2-3 hours. I am hoping I might eek out a couple more hours by using Vyrso instead as I only use it for reading rather than deep study. Th reason I would think it possible to use less battery is that Vyrso doesn't have to do anything but reference bible passages. This is my simple reasoning and I know it doesn't have much to stand on.
As far as define, I am looking for a simple english definition by highlighting and selecting define. In a pop up would be best so not to lose concentration as to where you are at in the book.
Thanks for your time alabama24 and God bless

I assume this will come… It is currently available on the iOS app… [but only on non RI resources unless you are offline, which show the original language material instead].
