Can you provide a pointer to the page with this information please? I can't find anything that says this.
The Vyrso app is only available on iOS (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or Android (beta version) devices.
For running on a PC (or Mac) you need the full Logos software - and purchases made in Vyrso are visible from within Logos 4.

The adveritzement for the free Randy Alcorn book from Logos says that Vyrso can be installed on a PC. On the web site to download it it gives only the option to download it on Android or iOS, neither of which for a PC is it? I'm quite technically challenged so I might be missing the obvious. Thanks for any help.

There is no Vyrso app for Windows. You can read your Vyrso books in Logos for the PC (install from here if you don't have it already; the basic engine is free, though it won't do much other than let you read books), or in your web browser on http://biblia.com.

The email advert for the free Randy Alcorn book had this near the bottom, but now I understand from your reply that it means I can just download it into my Logos 4 software. It confused me because it says "Read you Logos books in Vyrso." My technical literacy is very limited. :-) Thanks for the help! Ed

For further clarification: The terminology can be a bit confusing. "Vyrso" can refer to an eBook; it can refer to an app; it can refer to an eBook store. FYI - "Vyrso" books are "trade" books (i.e. like the majority of books at your local "Christian" book store - everything from amish romance novels, children's books, & Christian living) rather than "academic" books.
"Vyrso" books are available to be read:
- In the "Vryso" app for iOS or Andriod
- In the "Logos" app for iOS or Andriod
- On Biblia.com
- In Logos 4 (Mac or PC)
"Logos" books are available to be read:
- In Logos 4 (Mac or PC)
- In the "Vyrso" app for iOS or Andriod (when approved by publisher)
- In the "Logos app for iOS or Andriod (when approved by publisher)
- On Biblia.com (when approved by publisher)

So what about those who have fallen on hard times?
My computer is stretched by Logos 3, and no money to purchase a newer computer. I have tried Biblia - it seems rather inflexible, and not a particularly good reader

I am unsure of your question. Can you ask again? I don't think I understand. What are you looking for? If your computer is "stretched by Logos 3," it looks like you will have to make do with Biblia. Any other program Logos might create would push your system even further!

Several thoughts:
- Why are you using L4? Unless your computer specs won't allow it, you should update to L5. Even if you don't want to purchase a new base package, you should be using the free L5 engine. See my signature line for a link.
- What do you mean by synchronize?
- What smart phone are you using?

Richard, as long as you are using the same account for Logos and Vysro, the next time you run Logos 4 the books you purchased from Vyrso should automatically download. As an alternative you damn type in the Logos4 command bar UPDATE NOW to force the download to occur.
