Hi,

I want to get the free FSB (Faithlife Study Bible) for life deal, but, I don't seem to be able to, of don't know how to do it.

I tried the link in Bob's post below, from this forum,

FaithlifeBible.com/Giveaway

but, when I get to the FSB page and click on "Get It" nothing happens except I'm dropped to the bottom of the page where the buttons for the three apps are located and below that are the buttons for all the sharing sites, Facebook, Twitter, etc.

I am not a member of any of the sharing sites...is that a requirement?

I have just recently upgraded from Logos 4 to Logos 5.

How do I get my free FSB for life?

Thanks in advance for the help

Mark ... if you got Logos5 with a package, don't you already have FSB for life?

Also which browser are you using?

    Hi,

I don't know...that's one thing I'm trying to determine and am confused about.  Some posts here in the forum seem to say that and then I read something else and I'm not sure if that's the case.

Using Internet Explorer 9 and Google (not Chrome).

Thanks for the reply.  This may be where my confusion lies.

I just checked my "Library" in Logos 5 and the only instance of Faithlife Bible I can find is under "Bible Notes".   Looking under "Bibles", I don't see it listed anywhere.  I signed in (to FSB), under my Logos log-in info and I seem to be able to use the FSB and I seem to have access to all my books and library in Logos 5.

Is this all I need  or do I need to do something additonal to get the "free for life deal"?

the buttons for the three apps are located

If you own an iOS, Android or Kindle device I believe those app links will allow you to download the app to your device.

    Don't believe so.

Mark ... you have it. FSB is indeed the notes or commentary; not a literal Bible. When you're studying you match it up to your preferred Bible (since everyone prefers a different one).

And you do indeed have it, probably even after you die (your estate).

It's quite interesting, since they update it, add to it, etc. It'll be a benefit to you for years.

I just checked my "Library" in Logos 5 and the only instance of Faithlife Bible I can find is under "Bible Notes".   Looking under "Bibles", I don't see it listed anywhere.

This is a basic design for nearly all study bibles in Logos: you get bibles and notes separate. I think it's a really good idea.

That said: the FSB consists of various components

    • Bible: the LEB
    • Study Bible Notes: they are the core Faithlife Study Bible which you now found
    • Infographics, Photos, Videos: just filter your library for "faithlife" and they'll come up
    • the Lexham Bible Dictionary - some would think this is an even more valuable resource than the Study Bible
    • the "Connect the testaments" calendar devotional

    Hope this helps

    Hi Everyone,

Just got in from work and finished eating supper.

Thanks to all who replied...so very much appreciated.  I kind of hoped this was the case.  I love Logos' program.  What a great resouce for "digging into God's word"!

Have a great day!  And, may God richly bless you and yours!
