Why can I not use my NIV1984 in the FSB?
FSB would be my Bible of choice with the NIV1984. Without my NIV1984 it is useless to me.
i have no trouble using NIV1984 in the Logos app.

Hi Michael
Are you trying to access NIV84 from the Library window or from the "Resources -> Bible" panel?
The "Resources -> Bible" panel seems to give a reduced list of Bibles - maybe relating to those recently used - whereas all Bibles can be seen in the Library.
I didn't see my NIV84 in the Resources panel, went to the Library window and found it there, opened it and it was then visible in the Resources panel.
Does this help at all?
If not, when did you acquire your NIV84?

Peace! Very Interesting! I CAN access my (I've had it a long, long, time!) 1984 NIV in my L5 library and on my iPad2 using four different Logos apps. Logos - Vyrso - FaithLife - AND Verbum.
However, I CANNOT access my 1984 NIV using my desktop at biblia.com and bible.faithlife.com even after I sign in!
Don't really have a comment or an idea. That's just the way it seems to be. Methinks it's something to do with licensing, though.............. *smile*

Milford,
yes - that's the case and a known "feature" of the NIV 84 and some of the mobile enabled resources (such as Vyrso books) from a certain publisher. Logos must have developed an internal differentiation for mobile licences for this company.

Just to clarify - hopefully.
I think that what Milford and Michael describe are different.
Milford can see NIV84 in all of his 4 iPad apps whereas Michael can see MIV84 in the Logos app but not in FSB.
So, unless I am missing something, I don't think Michael's issue is reported to licensing.
This may hav been obvious to everyone but I wanted to check I wasn't missing anything!

You are absolutely correct Graham. Also, I will repeat from my earlier post .... repeat: "However, I CANNOT access my 1984 NIV using my Windows 8 desktop at biblia.com and bible.faithlife.com even after I sign in!"

Michael, is it missing from your Library listing in FSB? Seems my Logos app Library and FSB Library show the same resources.

Yes, NIV84 is missing from my list of Bibles in FSB. I see only 7 Bibles listed when I click on "Faithlife Study Bible" on the top window,. The new NIV is listed, but not NIV84. Interestingly, I can search the NIV84 in FSB, but only the new NIV, will show up in the top window of the program for reading. The study notes are in the bottom window.
If I look under settings in FSB, the NIV1984 is listed as my Preferred Bible, but it doesn't show up in the program.
I must be doing something wrong. It can't be a license problem as I have had the NIV84 in Logos for over 15 years. Works great in the Logos app. But this makes FSB pretty useless for me.
If you folks are telling me that you have no trouble using NIV 1984 in FSB, perhaps I should delete the FSB app and reinstall it? Or maybe I just am doing something stupid? (Been known to happen.)

One more time just for clarity. When one has the side panel open and sees a list of Bibles, you must tap at the top where it says resources. Then at the bottom of the list is library. Tap on it and you should be able to search for any Bible. Sorry if I am being redundant. On the home page if you have the resources window open you may have to scroll a little to see library at the bottom.

Thanks Jerry! I knew I was doing something dumb. My bad. Sometimes we southern boys don't just talk slow. Sometimes we think slow! I get it now! Problem solved.
