Am I supposed to see other peoples notes in my "My Faithlife" community notes? Shouldn't the note I see in the default "My Faithlife" community notes be mine alone? I though this was the whole point of being able to create and select additional groups.

Yes. Most user's privacy settings use "who can see posts to "My faithlife": everyone".

It seems Logos designed Faithlife as a community platform and didn't think of these notes as a replacement to your private notes documents.

If this is the case it shouldn't be called "My Faithlife".

"Community Faithlife" would have been more accurately titled. The first implies a certain amount of privacy.

Am I able to block them(theirs coming in) or only block mine going out?

Sure, just deselect the Visual Filter "My Faithlife" and use a group of your own for your private Community Notes.

On the other hand, even though some people complain about the "Non-Community" notes (I first wrote desktop notes, but this is wrong since they replicate to mobile devices and to documents.logos.com where they even may be shared accross groups), they offer much more functionality. Thus I would use Community Notes in a community and the other ones for My notes - but YMMV.

    Thanks, good advice. [Y]
