Downloading Proclaim on a Windows 8 machine

I am trying to download Proclaim on my new laptop and it isn't working. Has anyone else had problems downloading onto windows 8 and if so how did you fix it. Curious if it could be a firewall issue but I turned my firewall off and it still didn't work.

The "Launching Application" window comes up trying to verify application requirements but then just stays there.

I can confirm that just this morning I downloaded Proclaim and installed it just fine using Windows 8 x64. I will say, though, that I am running Windows 8 from within Parallels on my Mac, but it shouldn't make a difference. You may want to try again this morning. It could be that the server was busy or something like that.

James, are you still having difficulty launching Proclaim? It's possible the download got corrupted somehow, you may want to try uninstalling it and then re-downloading and installing. Let us know if you continue to experience difficulty.

We're having problems with our Windows 8 computer not allowing us to access SongSelect. When I insert a song from my Windows 7 laptop, it's fine. But when we try from our Windows 8 computer, it says "problem connecting to SongSelect" or something like that. Could you please help? Is this a Windows 8 problem, a Proclaim problem, or a SongSelect Problem. It worked on the the same computer before we upgraded to Windows 8. Thanks for your help.
